my bill for 31st August is £1.20 more, now £7.69

i assumed as it was a 12 month contract the price would remain the same for that period!

anyway my gripe is that although the bill is dated 31/8/12 the billing period is 15th July-14th August.

therefore it should have still been at £6.49.......????

No-no telcoms contract, landline or mobile, is a fixed price contract, as an inspection of the T&C's will confirm.

So, out of interest, how many people are actually trying to get Primus to revoke the recent line rental increase? By the number of responses in this thread, I would guess not a lot.

I'm currently going down the ombudsman route and just received a poorly worded letter from Primus giving me the two-fingers - telling me they can do what they like, despite being a relatively new customer.

It doesn't matter if you signed up the day before the price increase. It's not a fixed price contract, so they can increase the price at any time.

I am awaiting a reply to an email mine has increased by 27%, I expect them to reduce my increase to the £1.20 as a minimum response, at least I am only on a 12 month contract.

Just had a reply confirming my charge is £6.29p a month but I now have caller display ( Caller display is usually £2.50 per month where as this month you have only been charged part month.) What is that about?

I have just had another email and they say they are removing the caller display off my account, so back to £6.29 although the last bill was only up to Aug 15th.
