That's another NSD under our belts, and aiming for another tomorrow, since we already have our free lunch! :j
Also, managed to get 4 eBay listings up, including my spare skates that I've been meaning to sell since I got my new ones in December!0 -
Thanks for the remider about the free lunch!
I never remember to check my O2 moments app, but today I will be indulging in a free iced coffee from C.Neros and a free lunch from U.Crust - all thanks to you!

Skates sold for £215, picking up at work on Monday. Actually sold to a girl who was part of a group I taught to skate, so didn't really need to list them on eBay aT all. Cancelled the listing, so only cost the small listing fee. No 10% eBay fee or 3.5% PayPal fee as she's paying cash.
I have a 99p bid on a daft night light that was an unwanted secret Santa present from someone I didn't like very much, so that will definitely be going. :T
Will try and list as much as I can on Sunday with the free listings weekend.
Mail today included a Capital One statement showing my £1 token payment, no interest charged and a note saying to ignore all other requests for payment on my statement if I'm on a payment plan and they will continue not to charge interest while I maintain my payments. :T
Got renewal notices in for insurance on both our scooters so that'll be a wee comparison shop over the weekend, through a cash back site.
I'm loving Topcashback.co.uk after years of using Quidco. Have managed to amass £27 of cash back in two weeks thanks to lots of shopping for work. Being the person all that stuff gets dumped on does have its benefits! And I'm also managing to get discount vouchers for the stuff I'm buying, so the company saves too!
And it's finally the weekend. It's been a long couple of weeks and I'm done in!
Hope you all have a lovely moneysaving weekend.0 -
Hey GrandBenders! We were listing today and mowing the law, sorting out the garden, did 5 loads of laundry which was all hung out so no dryer used.
Helped my friend with her business and made £65 since Friday which I will skip down to the back and deposit and skip across the street to the PO to post 2 ebay things, then skip back across the street to the gym.. Only benefit of living in london is the bank, post office and gym are in eye sight of each other.
We spent that awful amout of money yesterday so I am going to try to make it up bu the end of the month but as least we paid cash.
The Olymipc flame will pass by us Tuesday evening at 530 so if I can get a photo i will post it.
Ate from kitch pantry and freezer today which was amazing. how did you girls get on?

Spent yesterday tackling small bits of organising and tidying that have been long-ignored, which was quite satisfying. Plenty more to do though.
We were out for a film screening last night with my roller derby friends and because we left it so late to leave, didn't have time to eat, so ended up spending £20 on a meal out. Since we'd already decided we could treat ourselves once a month, and we haven't been out in June or July, we're counting this as one meal out and still under budget. Also, I was owed £14 from friends and received this, so really our night only cost £6! :j
Managed to get some photos done for ebay, so have 8 things listed to end next Sunday at peak time. I have a huge pile of stuff, but in many cases, it's part of a thing, or something missing a box, or a lead to go in a box before it can all be listed, so my pile of ebay stuff is still pretty high. I've got it sort of organised now, and need to get the ironing board up to the guest room and iron the clothes that are getting listed. Since I left the forces, I've tried to iron as little as possible to make up for the many many hours I wasted with an iron and a bottle off starch in my hand!
Didn't get the garden done because of stupid weather again. It's been blowing a gale outside all day today. I want some summer - I am so fed up with this weather now.
We did go out and get petrol (with a 5p off from Tesco) and some topup lunch things and veggies from Aldi. We also used a 'spend £15 on toiletries and get a 5p per litre coupon for petrol' from Sainsbury's. Since there are certain toiletry items that I just refuse to 'down-brand' with, this was a good chance to stock up and get another petrol voucher. Sainsbury's are actually about 20p cheaper per item too, so still got the best deal on these things. This means we will have filled up three times in July with a 5p off voucher. We've saved about £6 in all with this, so very satisfying. :T
Since today is most definitely a spending day (£76 and counting) I'm going to get the Glasses Direct voucher, which we can use any time up to mid October, and we can both get a nice new pair of glasses each without breaking the bank.
I've still to do the comparison for the bike insurances, so will get on that now too. We're having a TV-free night, so no excuse for not getting stuff done.0 -

Yay for the £65. That's a lot of skipping, too. The pounds will be dropping off you in no time!
Your post was a wee bit confusing yesterday. Did you actually spend £1000 on glasses?
One of my roller derby friends carried the torch in Aberdeen.
I've worked out we have enough in our freezer/pantry for meals for the rest of July, so our total grocery bill has been around £120 for the month, including milk/bread topups through the week. I don't know if we'll manage this every month, but it does give me hope for our DMP budget being manageable.0
