Don't post anything which would allow them to id your case.

The reason I say this is not that it would help them win [they never will] but more so that they continue with their stupid [losing] trip to the court, thereby costing them more money.

I'm looking forward to Rosies reply about when she contacted Northampton court.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • I received what looks like CCJ from Northampton CC. Followed by letter from Solicitors saying they have obtained judgement against me.
Can judgement be made to someone just because a solicitor has paid DVLA to find out who is the registered keeper of a car. I have continued to ignore all correspendance. They have threatened with bailiffs next. What shall I do?
  • The car park was at Aintree Hospitals. It said make payment to FPN???

Did you check to see if this was a genuine case? Did you post on Pepipoo ? Did you file a defence asking for another 28 days? Something is just not right with this imo, you need to be more forthcoming with what you have ignored, and why you have done so
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

So, you never bothered to contact Northampton CC to find out if it was a real claim, which it apparently was, and now they've obtained a default Judgment because you didn't file a defence?

And you didn't post any of this on Pepipoo where they could have helped you lodge a defence?

We can lead horses to water, but we can't make them drink.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

Is this a [text removed by MSE Forum Team] person (sorry Rosie, but it's true) who failed to follow good advice, or a PPC stooge being set up to obtain a rare judgment in their favour?

You need to answer some questions to get any help.

1 When was the claim issued by Northampton on what date?

2 Did you acknowledge the claim and elect to defend?

3 What is the date of judgement?

4 How much is the Judgement for?

It maybe a better option to pay it then to have it set aside. Trethowens have won these! They have also lost em!
