                    Hi,
I have received what look like genuine CC papers from hospital carpark solicitors. They have the stamp, case no. etc. The return address for defence, offer of payment efc. is the solicitors address. Is this right?, should I reply?. I have not made any correspondence or acknowledged any letters I have received from them. I am worried though.

You will need to register and then post you story. It would be useful if you could scan in the papers you have received so that you could post them - you will probably be asked to do so in due course but be guided by those on the forum and make sure you do not disclose any personal details or anything that could identify you.
My best guess is that the solicitors involved are Trethowans of Southampton. They have been involved with a number of NHS Hospital Trusts (they are not the only firm in the field) have a reputation for pursuing such cases. My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
            Yes it is Trethowans.0

Don't say anything about who was driving on any forum and don't answer any P.Mail unless they are from someone with a large post count. The dark side lurk on forums.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Indeed it does.

This sounds fishy. Genuine court papers should be returned to the court who issued them, not the claimant's solicitor..... The return address for defence, offer of payment efc. is the solicitors address. Is this right?, ....
I would suggest you phone the court in question, and ask whether this is a real case number.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -

Or maybe take/send them to the court.
I imagine the court would be more than a little displeased, if a private company is sending out fake documents, claiming to be from the court.0 -
Why do they insist in going to court, they have been spanked by DJ's a few times now, you would think they had learnt their lesson now wouldnt you ?
I know they are trying in on but comeone please give it a rest you muppets ! or do you just like publicly humilliating yourselves ? :rotfl::rotfl:You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0 -
My first call would be to contact DVLA to ask why Trethowans requested your keepers details?0
