OP - whilst I am neither throwing accusations or second guessing your position with your BF, I would err caution as to what you post whilst online, you may remain anonymous on MSE, but the DWP have more power than you think when it comes to investigating your personal status, from observations to posts to and from your home AND computer.

If they were already checking up on you, what you say and do can be verified and checked relatively easy by them, from your household bills, bank statements and who stays where and when, to your facebook and internet activities.

I am not accusing you of defrauding the DWP here, I am merely warning you of the ease they have in checking up on you. If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to worry about. ;)

There are a myriad of reasons why they call people in for interview, it might be you have been reported, or just that something in coming up on the system they need to check with you. Go in and think before you answer questions, and stop when you've completed your answer, don't be tempted to rattle on if they haven't said anything else. Refer to any boyfriends as just that - boyfriends - not partners as that does sound like they are living with you. Take the meeting slowly, be calm, be clear about everything, and if you have to sign a statement read it carefully to make sure it really covers what you've said. Do treat it as an official meeting, so don't be overly friendly or talk too much as it's super easy to start owning up to something that isn't true.

And take with you anything they have requested such as bills or bank statements, as they will want copies of it all.
