'home made' or 'hand made'
This can be a good thing but I'm seeing lots of items that grandad or dad has made and the seller thinks is so unique and precious that they put a really high starting price on it... Then probably wonder why they get no bids.0 -
Just seen...
Piece missing but will send it on if I find it.
Actually fairly reasonable. Will probably deflate the end price, obviously, but at least the seller is promising that and not just selling the item as whole when it isn't.
I had a problem with some instructions once for a card game; I made a mistake in the listing and after giving several options, I made a small partial refund before sending the item out. Then I moved a box in my room and found them...!
So I sent the game with the instructions.
No biggie IMO unless the item is useless without the piece. In this case, the instructions were on the internet anyway."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

There are still a lot of delusional people out there who paid many hundreds of pounds for their then 'state of the art' cathode ray tube TV sets and think they must be worth well over £50 :rotfl:
We will probably be seeing them advertised as vintage soon...0 -
"l@@K" really annoys me more than anything. It's not like you would type it into a search!
Also have to agree with the vintage-"style" items, so frustrating trying to wade through the genuine items!0 -
Sale due to massive weight loss on clothes.....I always think that is like saying to buyers "I am so smug and you are still fat"0

Fab / super/ gorgeous/ trendy/ stylish ... etc
"just a few marks that should wash out..."
Anything that looks crumpled when it isn't meant to.
Low starting price ... it usually isn't.

What really bugs me is when people list clothes as new, then in description
Say it has only been worn once!! Doesn't matter if it's been worn one time or 20 times it has still been worn and therefore not new.
Have come across so many listings like this when I have been looking for something.:heart2:Mummy to a beautiful little girl:heart2:
