'shabby chic' when what they really mean is - here's an old pine chest of drawers that I got from the tip and have given a rough slap of paint to the top and sides of. It's sh*t, and I want £50 for it.Reason for edit? Can spell, can't type!0

Because you know that person has no idea about policies and if there's a problem you're going to have an argument on your hands.0 -

This one doesn't put me off tbh, because it doesn't really matter what they say (on a BIN).They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
It puts me off to a certain extent, because it can take a while to get money back and that's something I don't have an awful lot of to give someone a two or three-week interest free loan.
Also I do like to support decent sellers, just as I like to support good sellers who come to the forums, and decent off-eBay or offline shops as well. There are too many people on eBay who take buyers for granted - so I steer clear of those kind of people on principle."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

comes from a smoke and animal free house....on a vintage brooch
clothes I fully understand but for things like jewellery what does it matter0 -
Rare, when it's very common, and vintage, when they mean vintage style and not say a 1960's original dress. I like vintage jewellery but wading through all the "vintage" listings can be tedious when most are from Primark!
I just spent a few $ on a trading card with a poor photo and a listing where the seller stated they didn't know anything about it. Can't wait to see what I get- might be a gem!0 -

I hate all the vintage listings which aren't at all.
If I'm looking for vintage I want vintage.0
