"no returns"One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0

Another one...I am not responsible...bla bla bla.
I think I saw a seller complaining about NPBs on the official boards; reading her feedback left for others nine out of ten were false positives. When you looked at her auctions, her listings were terrible - bad photographs, poor descriptions, no measurements, etc. Obviously people were bidding (in clothes categories, often the first twenty pages of items are ending in ten minutes, so you have no real time to check out the seller, their feedback etc.), then in the cold light of day looking to see what they had won - and then not bothering to pay.
Given the atmos on the official boards at the moment I didn't dare say what I thought her problem was, but I felt like it.
Not that I excuse NPBs here (I guess the decent buyers who check what they are getting before bidding were put completely off!), particularly ones who don't contact to say they don't want the item, but some sellers really do make it difficult for themselves to encourage buyers to actually complete."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

ewww #17...
I agree with rare, Doesnt quite get me to rush out and buy it now. Especially when it only cost £5 new and there are another 748 auctions with the same item.
Because im lazy i pay £5.99 to get it delivered to the door. And ignore the rare item thats £22.99 + £4.99 postage.
Not sure if its working. Thats the big one for me. So its a non working useless item then.
Usually its something that will cost more than its worth to send it back if it doesnt work.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

I would agree call it what it is instead of trying to call it something it is not. If it is a job lot call it a job lot. Many car-booters and street vendors will search for "job lot" so do not be afraid to use the term if that is what it is.
Use straight-forward language to describe the item accurately. That is the way to attract the bids and keep your 100% rating.0 -
