Hi all!!
I want to cancel my current 24 month contract with T-mobile which is ends 30 days from 11th July, and move to a deal through NHS Discounts using Voice Mobile and the orange network as they do a fantastic deal on the Iphone 4.
However...I am worried about cancelling the contract as I heard they can be quite horrible to those wanting to leave?
how can I put it over nicely without simply stopping my direct debit? how do I word it? I believe that I need to ask for a PAC code???
sorry for sounding so daft, just a bit wary of ringing them!!
Thanks in advance,
Beth

Incidentally T-mobile became very crappy recently when it comes to PACs:
How to give T-Mobile notice and then PAC request.
Leave T-Mobile with PAC at end of contract0 -
I would just ask them to move me from pay monthly onto PAYG. Smooth and you keep your number and have more time to transfer it.0

Hi Beth, what is the deal? I work in the NHS0

Your contract does not end 30/7-it simply reaches the end of it's minimum term. It then continues until you give 30 days notice.
As above, cancelling your DD does not terminate your contract.
If they were 'horrible' on the phone, you would simply terminate the call. But all that will happen when you ask for your PAC is that you'll be put through to retentions, and they'll offer you a deal-which you decline. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Might be worth your while checking the Vodafone deals as well if you work for the NHS, it is 20% off any deal for you and up to 5 friends and family members.0

You can get it for 12x£26 with £50 cashback and without any discounts, i.e. effectively for 12x£24 (8Mb).0 -
That is the 4s deal they are talking about0
