  • Not an NSD on Saturday as i bought some fruit for work next week, a joint to slice up and freeze for sandwiches, some fish and chips followed by icecream. Then i took enough money out of my savings to pay my credit card off in full. I am no longer going to use it. Today however, is NSD 11!

  • organisingmylife - don't worry, honestly it's a real eye opener when you start to count the NSDs and realise that you spend on way more days than you would think - even if it's just 20p some days! The good thing is that you're keeping track of them now and, however many you manage this month .... try for one more next .... and another the next .... soon you'll be hitting great numbers:)

None for me today .... took Maisie to the further away woods / beach as ...... wait for it ..... are you sitting down ....... the sun was out today :j:j:j - realised when I was there that I was only a mile or so away from the petrol station, so seemed silly not to fill up as I would've had to go mid week - saved an 18 mile round trip :money:

Have high hopes for this week - have lunch stuff & now fuel so shouldn't need anything until at least Weds ......

I think its a bit of an aversion I have to the possibility of being electrocuted, something to do with a minor incident in our previous flat where our washing machine threw me across (albeit a small) kitchen due to condensation in the plug socket
Ahhh..... I see now, kerri, I think I'd be the same under those circumstances:o

Yep I too have flowering weeds they look quite pretty so Ive left them. Monty Don said on Gardeners World the other week that he was leaving an area for wild flowers, thats my excuse and I am sticking to it!!

Woohoooo.... that's a great excuse Pips Mum, I shall use that from now on - I have a wild flower meadow:D

I know the feeling about weedy gardens, we have some huge ones in ours, really do need to do something other than just giving them nasty looks in the hope that will make them wither

I soooo wish that worked :D

kerri - I agree with beanie re the bed linen. Life is definitely too short to pass on something you really want if you can afford it. Love it btw, very classy

rising - very organised and pleased you managed to go further afield with Maise today

marmite - fab update, thank you
