I'm declaring today as #10 early,so as there's no temptation to make an internet purchase. It'll have to wait until Tuesday, otherwise I won't get my 2nd lot of 4 in a row.;)

I shall be back later to do today's update.:D

LMH Hope you have a great time on your course!

Hi everyone :) Just really quickly popping in to say I am so sorry about missing Fridays update - my Internet has been down for a couple of days :( I came away on my resi before it was back up and have been having trouble connecting here too  Again, I am very sorry but I see the lovely spoony has done a fabulous, massive (:o) update so thank you so much xxx No clue if I have had an NSD this month but so busy I just can't worry about it at the moment! I'll catch up with you all when I get back, good luck everyone!
    Hi LMH
Please don't worry about it, you've done enough recently :A It's really not a problem, honest, I know you've been busy so just added it to Saturday's and it didn't take long at all....

Sorry about your internet problems, but hope you enjoy the course and get lots out of it.

    Take care xxx

Good morning folks from a so far dry NI,

Just about to head to the gym and then visit my parents.
Spoon, I am starting to agree about the Car and think the love affair with the S60 is coming to an end. Ref the computer savings, my parents are moving house and need to borrow that and way more to get the new house:eek:. We have given our yard the name weedsville and if you saw it, you wouldn't be surprised why;).
Sorry about the love affair with the car, Red, it's always a difficult decision to make :(
    Oh dear to the savings........
And I'm with you on the weeds, I think our garden is going the same way :(
    Snap!:(

I noticed when I was out in the garden yesterday, that the weeds are flowering! (just about the only things that are doing well this year:rotfl:)
Same here rising, everything else is waterlogged :(
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)

kerri - woohoo to no 6, halfway there now, that’s fab. Keep going:j:j:j
now I never would have put you down as the sort of person to be scared of jump leads... if you can cope with bootcamp you can cope with jump leads;)
I’m pleased your ankle is a bit better today, that’s something, but do be careful of it x:A
Sorry OH curtailed your bargain hunting a bit.............:(
No, I haven’t seen the Haye fight, I don’t like boxing at all, was it good?

I think its a bit of an aversion I have to the possibility of being electrocuted, something to do with a minor incident in our previous flat where our washing machine threw me across (albeit a small) kitchen due to condensation in the plug socket
Kerri, didn't see the boxing, but hope this ends the controversy with Haye and Chisora. Mind you, it could just be a way of selling tickets and they could secretly like each other:rotfl:

Boxing was actually quite good - went as OH predicted. I remember watching that and wrestling as a kid (honestly NOOOOooo parental control :rotfl:) so I kinda always have taken an interest. Plus I've found I really enjoy the boot camp sessions we have where we use the boxing gloves - shame I can't really fit in taking it up properly.

Well sun is trying to come out today, looks like our plans for the day have changed (supposed to have been visiting friends but not heard from them) so I'm torn between visiting the shops and getting some stuff done around the house. I feel like I've missed all the sales this year and am itching to go shopping. However i will be in the States next week so you never know, might get a wee chance then. In the name of NSD I'll try and be good and actually do some housework :p

Yep I too have flowering weeds they look quite pretty so Ive left them. Monty Don said on Gardeners World the other week that he was leaving an area for wild flowers, thats my excuse and I am sticking to it!! :rotfl::rotfl:

NSD 4 for me today :T clearly not going to make my target of 20 though unless I dont buy anything else for the rest of the month!!! Will still try and get as many as I can though. Anybody else think this month seems to have flown?

I have NSD 7 Tooth loads better thanks really glad I had it pulled TBH.

I know the feeling about weedy gardens, we have some huge ones in ours, really do need to do something other than just giving them nasty looks in the hope that will make them wither :D

    Hello,

i'd like to re-join this challenge please after a long period away :).

Think i'll take it nice and easy and go for 7 NSD's. No more buying lunchtime sandwiches and daily newspapers. I'll bring in a packed lunch and book instead. But i'm excluding my weekly TV guide purchase from this challenge :p. Gotta plan my week's viewing :D.

Evening all, HOW is it that time already? Welcome newbies and re-joiners - hope on the wagon enjoy the ride, though I'd pass on Igor's ferrit and mustard sarnies, they were a bit iffy before they were a week old

Well I'm pleased to say I decided to busy myself and distract the urge to go to the shops...so run down of the day after a lie in (yes, I didn't get out of my pit until midday :p) hoovering, mopped the floors, put on a wash, cleaned bathroom and downstairs lavatory (yes, we're posh we have a lav not a bog :rotfl:) filled and empited dishwasher, cleaned (some) of the windows and patio doors, lasagne (mince, corgette and roasted red pepper - get me, uber posh :p) in the oven. Phew! Just sat down and i'm pooped. Sun is shining though so can't complain.

Unfortunately there is a bed linen set on the Debs site I'm taken with - been 'stalking' it for weeks hoping it will go down more in price ('only' 20% off) and sale ends tonight. Turns out the bird poo that annoyly landed on the set I was drying hasn't come out and I suspect I'll habe little / no chance of getting the stain out of it (pooey berries...BLEUGH!) We could afford it as a house essential next month, but I don't like subbing myself in advance IYKWIM?
