Thanks for your concern Marmite and Spoony (and thanks for the wonderful Spoonified update). Spoony, you're prob going to shout at me but I haven't had my ankle strapped this week, I had a tubigrip on it previously but was a little concerned I was becoming reliant on it. I'll prob get more told off now if I tell you I was out in the garden for 3hrs today playing with my new toy - the cordless hedge trimmer - and I only went out to trim one hedge  however I'm pleased to report ankle is feeling Ok, certainly no worse if just a little stiff if I try to bend it a certain way, but I promise I will try and take it a bit easier

Oh no, puts my moaning about my car park scrape into perspective. Glad no one was hurt xxslowlyfading wrote: »No NSD for me as did food shopping.Fed up of feeling rubbish. Fed up of the rain. Fed up of feeling grumpy. Blah
I know what you mean about this weather, it's just a total pain.
Well, apart from my spell in the garden with the hedge trimmer today, OH came food shopping with me...and I wasn't allowed to use any coupons  Only 'discount' I got was using the gift card we have where we get 5% off when we load it. Talk about a shock to the system. Thankfully it was only a little shop else I might have passed out in the shop there and then  (and I wasn't allowed to womble either!) Shop after gift card cost £5 but going to use the house budget for that, so NSD #6 please
Made more banana loaf tonight (trying a different recipie this time) will let you know how it turns out.
ps anyone else see the Haye fight tonight?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hello you lovely lot, Spoony’s back with an update.:D It’s been a while so here goes....
Well done for all the NSDs nabbed Friday and Saturday, you’re all doing brilliantly:
Redouble - woohoo to no 7 and yay to 5 in a row, that’s fab:j:j:j
Hope the spendy day today wasn’t too painful
And no 8 in the bag as well, nearly there now, yay:j:j:j
And another yay for earning some more money, that definitely feels good:T
OodNOod - woohoo to nos 9 and 10, I love getting into double figures. :j:j:j
Keep going, you’re doing a great job
deep in - woohoo to no 9, nearly into double figures, that’s fab.:j:j:j
Hope the potatoes are yummy:)
Fae - woohoo to no 6, you’re doing a great job:j:j:j
Hope your mouth is less painful today:A
emsloves - woohoo to nos 9 and 10, I love getting into double figures. :j:j:j
Keep going, you’re doing a great job
marmite - woohoo to no 8, halfway there is brilliant. Keep going:j:j:j
And no 9 in the bag now, so over the halfway mark, yay!!:j:j
You’re right about being busy at work, it’s awful sitting watching the clock not moving and longing for 5pm to arrive.... However, there is a happy medium which I have yet to reach;)
Thank you but I wouldn’t be too jealous of the impressive numbers yet, I have a very spendy week coming up so just trying to get ahead a bit while I can.......
Igamogam - woohoo to no 4, you’re nearly halfway now, that’s fab. Keep going.:j:j:j
Hope things quieten down for you soon, have you moved into the caravan yet?
Red - woohoo to no 7, you’re doing great as always:j:j:j
 to the cost of car parts, sometimes I think it would be cheaper to buy a wreck of a car, run it until it’s totally wrecked and get another one.......
Hmmm.... I’m with you on the weeds. I’m sure I spotted a tiger in my garden earlier this week:rotfl: and the sparrow has taken to bathing in the grass again...... Maybe one day it will stop raining
I’ve just looked at your signature, well done on the computer savings, you’re nearly there now:T
rising - woohoo to no 5, halfway there is brilliant. Keep going:j:j:j
I’m pleased Maisie coped OK with your first week back at work. Your arrangements sound very organised, I’m sure they’ll all work well. Winter is months away yet, you’ve got plenty of time to put some contingency plans in place if you need to.
Hope the grocery shopping wasn’t too painful today x:A
beanie - woohoo to nos 8, 9, 10 and 11, another one into double figures, yay!!:j:j:j
You’re doing brilliantly as always, keep going
I think we saw the sun for around an hour today, I was beginning to wonder what it looked like:(
Deb4 - woohoo to no 10, another one into double figures, that’s fab.:j:j:j
Keep going, you’re nearly there now
And no 11 in the bag as well, yay!!:j:j:j
I’m so sorry to hear about your car, but it’s good that no one was hurt. Cars can always be mended, even if it does take time, humans are less easy to fix.
It’s always a shock though, so be kind to yourself for a while ((hugs)) xx:A
kerri - woohoo to no 6, halfway there now, that’s fab. Keep going:j:j:j
now I never would have put you down as the sort of person to be scared of jump leads... if you can cope with bootcamp you can cope with jump leads;)
I’m pleased your ankle is a bit better today, that’s something, but do be careful of it x:A
Sorry OH curtailed your bargain hunting a bit.............:(
No, I haven’t seen the Haye fight, I don’t like boxing at all, was it good?
And hello to:
BDINI - more (((hugs))) and lemsip coming your way. Hope you’re feeling a bit better today xx:A
phoenix_dragon - sorry that you’re leaving us this month. Hope things improve for you soon and we see you back again.
Take care xx:A
sf - I know how you feel, I think everyone’s down in the dumps at the moment with this flamin’ weather, there’s only so much rain any of us can take.
And I’ve nabbed no 12 today, yay... go me!!!!:j:j Lots of spendy days coming up next week though so I still might struggle to meet my target  That will teach me to respond to Freeby’s challenge.:o
And if you're still awake after reading that, you deserve one of these :A
'night everyone x

Good morning folks from a so far dry NI,
Just about to head to the gym and then visit my parents.
Spoon, I am starting to agree about the Car and think the love affair with the S60 is coming to an end. Ref the computer savings, my parents are moving house and need to borrow that and way more to get the new house:eek:. We have given our yard the name weedsville and if you saw it, you wouldn't be surprised why;).
Kerri, didn't see the boxing, but hope this ends the controversy with Haye and Chisora. Mind you, it could just be a way of selling tickets and they could secretly like each other:rotfl:
I hope everyone has a good day. Will report back later on whether or not it's been an NSD;)If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
