Thanks she hasn't said anything about a bounty bag thing, she seems to think that they need something to send to head office - big company.
(makes my blood boil, bless her she's a grafter and in the sort of job that can't have chairs)
    xx

Pregnant ladies get a Mat B1 but only at 25 weeks, therefore the employer has to just take her word for it in the earlier stages.

Perhaps she can get a note from her Dr confirming the pregnancy?

Or like the other poster said offer to pee on a stick in front of them :rotfl:.

I think I got my NHS free prescriptions maternity card quite early on in the pregnancy - that would possibly provide some proof?

I tell people ASAP - not "employers" in a formal sense of the word - but parents I tutor for - it's not fair on them for them to ring me now for a tutor for September, and then me to spring on them two months down the line "oh by the way I'm pregnant and due April" and muck up their arrangements for the year, so I tell them at the outset that I'll happily tutor their child, but in the interests of being honest from the start - I'm pregnant again, it's very early days so may not even come to fruition, but if it does I'll be due around X and I'm planning not to tutor for X period of time - I'll leave it up to you if you decide to go ahead knowing those facts or not, but I think it's better to be open and honest with you from the start.
