time and time and time again we have said it ....and still you do not get it ..... you are seriously OBSESSED with disability. OK, you have a disability...so do many others and we all have to deal with it the best way we can. You seem to THRIVE on going over and over the same old thing...poor poor me .... To be totally honest from posts you have made in the past about your abilities (although contradictory) I think your CP is not as bad as you make out - you USE it as an excuse for everything that does not go just right in your life. Life is what YOU make of it - not what someone else hands you on a plate - if you want the marks..put the work in. If you want help ...ask for it. If you want a better life and more independance...go and get it.

you USE it as an excuse for everything that does not go just right in your life.

Not really, failure in my life adds to my feelings of lack of self worth and so I feel less worthy rather than it is an excuse.

I do not expect you to understand that but there you go.

How do you know that we could not understand that  .... I have had to battle with being different since I was 15 ...I have worked hard through adversity and have had a 21 year career in the same job with high achievement. I now have a serious decline in my condition and am about to lose my job ...thus losing my network of friends, my social life, my finances etc etc. I WILL pick myself up...and I will not winge about it - life is too short for total negativity.
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)

I am sorry for being such a 1D mind sometimes.

I do have never really felt complete negativity in my life as I know there is always hope. However, just something about my lack of success at university has really made me doubt myself and my self worth.

I am sure life will work out in someway good for you!

Okay, Q, but is he a personal friend of yours, do you know for sure that he is not deeply angry and upset at what has happened to him? He might feel sad and unhappy inside too you know just like a lot of more ordinary disabled people do.

In Life I try to keep unbeat and I do keep going but I know I do let my negative side come out too much here.

Whether he is deeply angry and upset is totally irrelevant. We are not talking about how one feels but about what one DOES.

You can be angry and resentful as much as you like, but that won't change one minute of your life nor hand you any achievement. DOING SOMETHING will. And by something I do NOT mean living your life posting on MSE.
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

I have to get past the feelings to doing real substance, I see that now!!
