It depends on the couple.

As someone who is disabled and cannot "put out" that much, we have sex about once every two months! However, my husband and I aren't very sexual anyway and much prefer being intimate in other ways.

It works for us.

I generally find men want/can have sex almost all the time, and women go through phases which can be down to where they are in their cycle. Like so-

Week 1 - blergh - 'week off'
Week 2 and 3 - wahey!
Week 4 - meh...
Back to week one.

Depends on so many factors. When I first got together with my husband, underwear was an un-necessary timewasting encumbrance

FF 5 years and we've settled down we can go up to 3 weeks without (but always cuddle, hug, snog [cue: children vomit] and are very tactile) or it's 3 times a day. We make time for each other and I think that communication is the key to a good relationship, it's as close when we "spoon" and just talk. Or spoon and I fall asleep. :rotfl:

Seriously, there's no 'right' answer. You have to decide what suits you as a couple and not argue about it.

2-3 times a week. I like to build it up so it feels better. Doing it too much e.g. daily would make it more of a chore and I wouldn't appreciate it as much. Of course we still cuddle, kiss etc daily.
