Just in a pickle and could do with some advice,
What's the average no. Of days couples should have sex in a week to keep the relationship healthy?

Me and my wife have very different view points on this

Every couple is different and you're not going to find consensus from an internet forum. Talk to your OH, stress the need for both of you to compromise in the relationship and if it's causing serious problems, consider seeing a relationship counsellor such as Relate.

Hiya,

This question pops up about once a month but the general consensus is that there is no average and everybody is different. Also it can change from time to time too!

OH and I generally do it 2-3 times a week but he works such long hours that sometimes its only once a week and we have been a fortnight before without it. But sometimes it can be 3 times in a night...although thats usually dependant on alcohol consumption heehee!

Who wants it more? You or her? How often do you do it now and what dio you do to try and get each other in the mood?

That's quite a difficult question. I suppose the answer is as often as they need to!

There's bound to be a lot of differences between individuals. Hopefully couples can find a level of frequency that suits them both.

There is no average of course. It depends on the individuals and the couple.

Its normally a compromise between the 2 people. Remember that constant sex, doesn't mean good sex.

And it matters if the partner who doesn't want as much, is OK with the other partner pleasuring themselves if they need more, whether to !!!!!! or not.

Definitely this is a good point...the majority of humans NEED release so if A is not as 'driven' as B...A should really allow B to sort themselves out so that they don't get too frustrated! :rotfl:

Too tired for sex, but maybe 2 or 3 times a month if he comes to bed before 10.15pm!
