With regards to the OP, I think a lot depends on how long you've been together, medical conditions either of you have, etc etc - you may as well say how long is a piece of string. We get frisky 3-4 times a week on average (been together a year) but sometimes more, sometimes less.

Talk to each other if you can - it does help.

I'm intrigued as to what you'll do with the responses. Perhaps you want it 3 times a day, in which case you might read this thread and conclude you're being a little ambitious in your expectations.

Or perhaps your wife only fancies it once in a while, you'd like it 2 or 3 times a week and you'll use the answers here to say 'look love, put out more, other women do'.

The latter would be really dangerous (not to mention disrespectful). At the end of the day, each couple needs to come to their own conclusions about how much sex is right for them. You can't canvass opinion on an internet forum then use that as ammunition to demand more sex

If your sex drives are incompatible, get talking so that you can work out how to compromise.

We do it when we both want to. Well, when she wants to (I always do!). This can mean anything from dozens of times per week, to literally once or twice a month.

Absolutely fine. Quality over quantity.
