lol i know what youre saying but it would make a difference, Im not really a breakfast person but im trying to eat more healthily. Also in a morning I just want to get up and go to work as soon as im ready, earlier the better so i can come home earlier. Its not that I dont have the time really, its just laziness to be honest. BUT if i dont eat breakfast i then start snacking around 10 am .
I think im going to try poached egg on toast or boiled egg.
Thanks everyone.

I do breakfast at work - I take a yoghurt a banana and a muesli bar or granola bits to go with it and have that as soon as I get to work. Depends where you work though obviously!0

The coffee is the most important bit.
And while that is brewing, why not nuke some porridge oats in water for 2min 30 sec, and then add some single cream and blueberries. Works for me, and breakfast is said to be the most important meal of the day - I know I feel off if I miss mine. Regards, White.0 -
pizza is my favourite although if it was a takeaway, it's probably not in the spirit of money saving0

I used ot be very much the same as you are when I was working full time - I had to train myself to eat breakfast to keep me going til lunch. I started forcing half a weetabix down every morning and gradually worked up to having a full bowl of porridge
Some quick things:
Rice cake/crackers/slice of bread/toast with peanut butter and jam
A bag of rice cakes
Brioche rolls (plain) with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate
Banana
Banana mashed on toast (I used to have this with cream cheese on too)
Pot of yoghurt - maybe with some dried fruit on top
Or you could bake something like flapjacks or muffins in advanceLove and compassion to all x0 -

How about magic porridge? A mullerlight or any other yogurt mixed with porridge oats, can be done the night before & left in the fridge so just need to eat it in the morning. Can add fruit to it too?0

Hi Old Stylers,
When it comes to lunches and dinner I'm very good, I bring a packed lunch to work, and always make my evening meal from scratch. However, I haven't quite got my head round breakfast yet, and I'm still on Kelloggs cereal bars.
Anyone got any ideas for Old Style alternatives? It has to be something I can take to work, as I never have the time or appetite to eat first thing (I leave the house quite early, and it takes me long enough to sort out my lunch!). I do have a mini fridge at work.
I've never been a huge fan of traditional breakfast foods (toast, cereal), so I'm open to more unusual ideas. I'm vegetarian, btw.Debt at LBM (17/10/08) £5727.61 Debt free date 31/08/090 -
My favourite breakfast is muesli, yoghurt with a sliced banana or tinned fruit.
Why not have a yoghurt and fruit something just to start the day rather than thinking traditional breakfast. Tinned grapefruit is nice.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4.............................NCFC member No: 00005.........
