How about hard boiled eggs, if you like them? Or cheese on toast? Or make a cheese sandwich the night before, slap it under the grill first thing and have a toastie. Porridge really is fine (even if you don't have any empty drawers!) if made in advance, chilled then microwaved.
Soup, scrambled eggs, beans on toast, bagel, smoked fish...

Scrambled egg on toast. On the weekend or holidays, add some smoked salmon trimmings.

I just have the usual cold stuff, cereal from a packet, coffee, toast, bagels, fruit juice, toasted cheese sandwich, fruit. Except for Sunday which is croissant day as the local co-op always seem to have reduced packets in the morning.

Slice of toast (including marmalade if I've got any in the cupboard) and porridge (made with all water) done in the microwave.

Oh yes - plus 2 cups of coffee (first one caffeine and second decaff!)!

my quickest breakfast that is filling and yummy are 2 soft boiled eggs. from where I come from, we eat them runny (both yoke and white) simply put kettle on, fully submerge 2 eggs in a saucepan filled with freshly boiled water, leave for 10mins with the lid on while I brush my teeth, get dressed etc. crack eggs into saucer or small bowl, scrapping all the bits still stuck to the inside of the shells, season with soy sauce and white pepper, mix and slurp it all down within 10 seconds. lasts me till lunchtime!

You could make up a batch of high fibre muffins at the weekend, freeze them & just take one out each morning.

I have breakfast - cold cereal & fruit or porridge - but I make up a batch of these from a Low GI book & take them to work for a snack. It keeps me away from the chocolate machine! Most of the time. :o
