I love this thread, l was going to start a similar one because hubby drives me insane most weekends. All week l look forward to the weekend to have family time but come the weekend hubby is barking at our son so l moan at him and end up miserable wondering if lm the only one with a husband who doesn't understand how to get the best out of children.
My father was the same - it made our lives a complete misery when we were little. You can't expect little children to think like adults, but it's not unreasonable for grown men to accomodate children's habits.

I read this thread last night I think and have been browsing the forums tonight again - can I ask why you are with these men if they drive you insane, you call them stupid, and they annoy you?

I appreciate everyone has a rant about their partner at times, but having spent the day at work observing couples because the place was quiet, I do wonder at times whether humans are just happier on their own!

Should l up and leave when he's a good father, husband and person in other ways?

Got to take the rough with the smooth and hope l can educate him!

    Happy moneysaving all.

Glad to see I'm not alone and others have men that are perhaps not as wise as they could be at times. ;)

Well.....Rock of Ages....what can I say? :rotfl: It opened with a song on a bus, then a song on the street, then a song....well you get the idea. :rotfl:

I could see OH sliding down his chair and wishing he was somewhere else, despite the fact it was him that suggested it. :rotfl:

There was one scene in particular between Russel Brand and Alec Baldwin, and all I could think of was Harvey and friend (from the advert). :D

As long as you're not expecting a film to think about then it's ok and the music brought back memories (Foreigner stuff).

As for woman in black......I thought it was quite good and yes it did scare me a bit. I'm surprised the rating isn't older, I wouldn't let my 12 year old watch it, it would certainly freak her out. That said, her pal watched it and found it ok.

it just seems to me incredibly harsh, if your partner was posting a website ranting about you would you be happy.... I think the comment about "educating him" says it all - you must have made a decision to stay with this person for some reason, why change him? Accept the person for who he is, it's rather sad reading the comments slating off men, you chose to spent the rest of your life with that person, I'm sure they would be incredibly hurt to realise you hard posted on an open forum with their faults and how annoyed you were with them.

Ì'd be very unhappy if my husband criticised me in public and I wouldn't dream of criticising him either.

And being a long time regular, you will know that this has been said previously by others and dismissed as not being an issue by another section of MSE.

People hold their own views over this type of posting, which is how it should be.
