I know you are on incapacity at the moment! You asked if you could move onto IB (income based) ESA, why do you wish to move onto IB ESA?0 -

I kinda got lost now right because one every 12 months reapplying seems so much hassle to be honest the whole thing and thinking about is seem stressful just want you to give up at least with income based esa it just rolls on until they contact you.0 -

No, that is not correct. People on ESA are assessed periodically irrespective of what type of ESA they claim. The period will vary according to your condition - it could be a year, it could be as little as three months.0 -

I live in Durham and I had to send my first two sets of forms to Leeds and the second two sets to Newcastle, all four forms were for one assessment btw when I was recently transfered from IVB to the support group of ESA.Yes if you get in the support group it's not time limited
If you get put in the WRAG then they *should* contact you towards the end of the 12 months asking you if you want to be assessed for Income based ESA - however in reality people slip through the net for whatever reason. The number currently is 0800 055 6688, it may change though in the future.
You are not assessed yearly for ESA, it can vary between three months to three years between assessments, the lenght of award can be found in the award letter.
My forms for the transfer were sent back 18th May and I was transfered to the support group of ESA without a face to face assessment a couple of weeks ago, I am in the support group for three years.
If you are genuinely to sick/dislabled to work the changeover is nothing to worry about.0 -

Ok it's just i heard/read that atos don't put the truth on the report that they send to dwp i also get a Personal Budget and attend a day centre 4 days a week so i could show them that also if i'm call to a face to face medcial.
Infomatiion A Personal Budget is the amount of money that is used to meet your care and support needs.
You will only be able to have a Personal Budget if you are assessed as having social care needs that meet the Fair Access to Care criteria used by the Isle of Wight Council.0 -
If you were receiving IB that wasn't topped up with income support (IS) it will be converted into contributions based ESA (C-ESA) if your IB was topped up with IS then it will be a single ESA award composed of both contributions and income elements.
If you receive C-ESA, and are placed in the work related activity group (WRAG) then this will be time limited to 12 months, at the end of which you will be contacted and asked if you want to be assessed for income based ESA.
What about severe disablement allowance? I was informed it would be contribution amd income based - is this correct?“How people treat you becomes their karma; how you react becomes yours.”0 -
SDA will be transferred to ESA(CB). If you payments are less than the applicable rate for ESA(IR) you will receive the difference as a top-up.0
