Phone DWP to check that your form arrived. After that, it could take months before you hear anything else.0

yes that is right, your ib will not stop until the decision has been made about esa, we waited about 6 weeks before my partner had a phone call to go for a medical exam0

Thanks is there any way of emailing the dwp as i know you spend ages on the please hold machine and listening to the the awlful music that they have not updated lol0 -
the esa50 goes direct to the medical services (atos) when you post it with their pre paid envelope, its doesnt got to the dwp untill after the report has been viewed with the advice from the assessor to say you either fit support group, LCW WRAG or WRAG or you need a face to face assessment, the dwp will then send back you esa50 to the medical services with a note attachment giving the go ahead for face to face, thats when they will contact you again to arrange an appointment via letter, it can be as long as 6 weeks before you hear anything at all. thats not to say that atos would have informed the dwp they have recieved it they will but can take 10-14 working days to reflect that on the system.0

CHances are your form is with ATOS HC who you returned it to and they will be processing. They'll take a look and see if a face to face medical is necessary (and contact you in due course regarding date) or if getting a GP factual report would be suitable or if they have enough evidence already to provide advice to DWP. My advice would be to email ATOS HC to confirm they have received the ESA50... ATOS seem to be useless at everything except in my experience giving information on status regarding their activities in relation to their responsibilities in the process. Try customer-relations@atoshealthcare.com
Usually it can take weeks for DWP to make decision after ATOS supply their advice or medical report. Therefore after medical or after ATOS close their file I suggest requesting ESA85 (face to face medical report) or ESA85A (report where face to face medical not done) from DWP to see what advice they gave.
Any supporting medical evidence you can get into the process could be helpful."Do not attribute to conspiracy what can adequately be explained by incompetence" - rogerblack0 -
i completed my second ESA50 this week.
Do ATOS refer to the previous medicals notes or is each review treated in the same way as a new claim?
