Pipkin - I wouldn't worry about dates on tinned or dry goods, these are fine many years after their bbe date, possibly indefinately, as long as they are not dented.

    Thank you :)

I need to pick up some suitable containers. We have a mouse problem starting every Autumn and I would hate for them to get into the stores.

I bought an electronic mouse deterrent and I'm hoping that will keep them at bay this year.

We had a bit of a problem with mice a few years ago. One night I was sitting on my own at the computer and heard a noise behind me. When I turned round there were two mice having a fight in the middle of the floor :rotfl:

    We got a cat :D

I have a cat ... currently sitting on the sofa with his eyes closed and a small smile on his face :A, whilst in the kitchen (adjoining) I can hear a mouse scuffling about. It seems to like the garlic. Think I will have to put a trap down!

Perhaps I should invest in one, does the gas cost much to run? Do the camping stoves cost much?
If I used it I'd probably have to keep quiet as the landlord(HA)don't like calor gas stoves being used.

Try this - no gas needed. Much safer too.
