Hi HAW, just caught up with your diary as promised!
Oh my, I totally understand your pain with the bike tour trip! My DH did his fair share of that sort of stuff before the accident. It's something that I certainly don't miss now! Has anything more been said about it?
Sorry to hear about the redundancies at work too!
Hope you have a lovely night with your parents XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thanks for stopping by PLMBL  You are very welcome indeed
Nothing has been said to me about trip, but who knows what's being said at their 'boys club' every week. I'll likely be the last to know
(I called in at the travel agents and lifted a couple of brochures myself. I still want to go on holidays this year!:rotfl:)
OH is 41 and I seriously think he'll never actually grow up! I think there's a bit of him will always be a lads lad. Just gotta get my head around it and get used to it!! lol
Thanks! Dinner went well! I made ginger pork and chips just. Too lazy to make the dauphinoise potatoeslol. Had raspberry cheesecake for dessert too (Asda's £1 best!) Not normally a dessert person but they def are!!
OH still out with his mates at the minute so passing time on MSE - where else?!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Happy Monday
So apparently I could've stayed on MSE for over an hour after I posted the last time coz I only got a text from OH about 10 to 2am to go pick up him!!!Had just about started to doze off in front of the tv by then...
OH somewhat hungover yesterday so we all had a lazy day in front of the big fire. Perfect
Random, but had a huge salad for lunch yesterday. So simple: mixed lettuce stuffs, spring onion, red pepper, cherry tomato, ham, cheese and green pesto (reading that now I've just realised I forgot red onion) It looked absolutely yum on the plate and it tasted even nicer than it looked! Me and OH decided we're gonna have to do that more often. I figure maybe a Saturday lunchtime or something. Other than the cheese it was really healthy
Had a bit of karma/what goes around comes around/pay it forward on ebay recently and figured I'd share:
Had sold a CD a couple weeks ago, but before buyer got round to paying I discovered I had the CD case - with no CD :( Emailed to say what had happened and cancelled the transaction, and also said when I came across it I'd let her know, and she could have it with free P&P. Eventually found the CD (:j) and relisted it with my other items. They bid and got free postage. All good.
Last week I won a CD for OH and paid straight away. Showed as 'processing' in Paypal so emailed seller. Turns out they'd changed email addresses and switched ebay over, but hadn't sorted all Paypal stuffs or something. Said it was his fault, he could see that I'd paid ok, and that he would send the CD regardless and take the hit! (I still paid him anyway but that's not the point!)
NSD yesterday which was my 12th this month!!:T Hoping I'll manage another couple before the end of the month too
'Seen' my niece and nephew yesterday on Skype which was cool. Kinda hard to hold a conversation with a 6 and 8 year old sometimes thoughlol
EDIT:
Knew there was something else I had to write about!!
Me and OH were are our local cinema for a meal deal a few weeks ago. Very disappointed with the food and didn't get an apology or offer of a free cuppa or anything (;)) so I wrote a complaint to them. Got a reply last night and they're sending me complimentary tickets to the cinema. Success :jWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
Brilliant about the free cinema tickets :j and well done on all the NSDs! I thought I was clever managing 5 :rotfl: XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

5 NSDs is very well done PLMBL :T - it is January after all
I struggled to get 6 for the last 3 months but sheer determination (and changing my rules slightly) got me hitting target this month!! lol
We've been at the cinema a few times recently (Hobbit, Skyfall and Pitch Perfect), so there'll likely be nothing on for ages!
Was out at lunchtime and managed to only get what I set out to get! Very impressive!!
Bought a pair of these high tops for DD3
(bought myself a pair on Saturday and OH asked the girls if they wanted a pair too!!)
Shampoo and conditioner for the girls (I'm on a no-buying-unnecessary-toiletries-for-myself shopping spree but can't make the girls do without!)
Rubber gloves (as you do!)
And treated myself to a jar of apple and clove jellyExpensive at £2.25 a jar but hoping nobody else likes it so I can have it all to myself :rotfl:

Hey all
WHERE is the time going?! February already!
I smashed my original target of 10 NSDs in January and actually managed 13 :T I'm well pleased with that! Aiming for 12 in February so fingers crossed!!
Still no word on work but should have an idea if I'm in trouble by Monday:( It's also hit the local news too so word is out there.
I've done all my bank transferring in and out since getting paid yesterday, so patiently waiting for my £5 from Halifax in a couple of days, and also will be updating my FD target again! Love seeing that figure in my signaturelol
Started Zumba (again!) last night. Was good funOnly 45mins but rather intense. Will def be going back again. It's £4.20 a class, so £16.80 for a month if I go every week. Will find out how much gym membership is and see if it'd be worth my while doing that instead. All providing I still have a job right enough
Looking forward to the weekendWe're going out for a few drinks tomorrow night for my friends 30th birthday.
Help??
I would like to do something really special tomorrow for OH. His ex is giving him bother again and I can tell it's getting him down!I could maybe cook his fav dinner again (or his choice) but maybe if anyone else had any suggestions it'd be great

What about a romantic picnic for your OH (even an indoor picnic)? Or even a drive somewhere and fish and chips?CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Run him a nice bath with candles and then give him a massage. It's not just girls who appreciate that kind of thing (though he will probably then take it in a different direction
). Or have a dvd marathon with popcorn etc to take his mind off things, or as unigirl says, go out for a bit and blow the cobwebs off. The beach isn't just for the summer! Xx

Great ideaThink a drive round the coast complete with picnic would be perfect for tomorrow. Fingers crossed the weather isn't horrendous!

hee hee :rotfl: You're right on that one PLMBL!
He has his relaxing bath once a week anyway, and I give him a massage any time he asks for it (think he uses his gammy shoulder as an excuse!lol)
Really liking the idea of the beach
I see a plan coming together...
Bought us almond croissants at Mr T's there so will start tomorrow off with thatWill suggest wrapping up warm and hitting the road early. We could easily be back by lunchtime before the girls even surface!!
Heard a song on the radio earlier this morning so emailed him the words, and have downloaded it to play later on when we're alone. You're the inspiration by Chicago. Pure cheese with cheese on top, but the words fit perfectly:)

Well, so far it is a happy Monday anyway
Ask me that question at 5.30 it could be a different story
D-day
Anyway, good weekend!Almond croissants went down a treat Sat morning. Didn't get for our walk after all, but after lunch we headed into town and got cappucinos (and carrot cake!) at our fav cafe
OH suggested we go out for dinner, so that's what we did. Good call!!Went to Shenanigans. OMG that food was just de-liiiii-cious!!!! OH got chargrilled chicken, tobacco onions, chilli and sour cream cubes with a bacon and thyme cream sauce (gotta find a recipe for that one!). I got 'pan-fried monkfish with a honey & butter glaze, served with braised pea, lettuce and potato stew'. Oh w.o.w.!! Their food is soooooooooooo good!!!
Had a 'few' *cough*cough* drinks when we were out, so sitting happy by the time my friends appeared. Back to the house and OH went for the bottle again while I happily munched on toast!! Was a really good night and exactly what me and OH needed
Lazy day yesterday and my first NSD of February
Have updated my signature and noticed I'm halfway to my target with FD! :j:j:j Honestly didn't think I'd be able to do it, especially with christmas/car insurance etc! I'm well pleased with myself, and hopefully the next 6 months will be the same
Have a good day everyone. Gonna try to stay positive myself. Thanks to anyone and everyone for stopping by and reading my updatesWealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0
