Backing up your data you should do often because it's just a waste of time. But the best time to back up your data is once a month because you would have uploaded or saved more thing in that period of time0

I can't remember the frequency i back up.What i do remember i back up on a regular basis.And as soon as i've got important data,i will back up.
However,I don't just simply back up in the local computer.I also turn to Udisk and Email attachment etc.
Sounds like expensive.BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!

I do not back up at all. I try not to get dependent on the machine, as much as possible.0

I backup every day between machines. I find allway sync to be great0

I use CrashPlan which does constant backups.
Great service which I strongly recommend. Don't want to take any chances with neither work files or personal photos!0 -

On the off-chance that people still read this thread, anyone that writes for a living should swap MS Word for Google Docs. It backsup your writing in real-time as you type so you never lose your docs. It also has all of the other MS Office docs. Well worth checking out.0
