Please do not over-look any freebies also: Windows 7 System Image Backup is a worthy contender to any paid-for versions

Agree. My laptop was 22GB and my netbook 15GB. Put on separate external hard drives. Worthwhile if disaster strikes. Probably do it again in a month.
    I went away and now I'm back.:j:j

Good idea; and don't forget that incremental backups are always an option ;)

I only back up Photos, as Ive nothing particularly important elsewhere, is there any way you can back up everything fairly simply. ie you just plug it in and the computer is "Exactly" as it was, favourites, etc?.A web based E-mail service, is of course not lost.

Probably nothing more simple than what's included in Windows 7 (and Vista); are you not happy with Windows backup?;)

Our office backs up to tape (taken off-site) daily as incremental backups and monthly for full backups.
