it is a bit of fun trying to get them for less money.
if a child doesn't get them does it really matter? These 'but my child really DESERVES a treat etc etc posts are really annoying!
To me it is not just ''a bit of fun trying to get them for less money'' as like I said to get special needs toys is usually VERY expensive and much more expensive than your average toy which is DIFFICULT if you are on a tight budget yet that particular toy can CALM A CHILD WHEN HE OR SHE IS DISTRESSED and children with special needs get VERY distressed very quickly and very easily and the right toy can provide an EXCELLENT distraction to calm them down = Usually works a treat and THEN you can cuddle the child and have smiles all round again after they have calmed down
So it is NOT about DESERVING A TREAT but that toys can actually make a difference between a stressed Mum and child or a calm and happy Mum and child but I suppose you have to be in that situation to understand!
Anyway it is a pity that I AM unfortunately on a tight budget otherwise I DEFINITELY would ave tried again and placed another order when the prices went down again and always WOULD try ordering again in the future if there are some good bargain toys which ARE SUITABLE for my DGS or DGD but it was just such a pity ALL 15 ITEMS were cancelled - Would have been happy just to receive three!!:D
( And by the way I did actually find your comment to be INSENSITIVE because YES it DOES actually MATTER to alot of children and parents which most people unfortunately do NOT understand unless they are in the same or similar situation as it is not just about play but about keeping the child CALM AND HAPPY so some sensitivity and understanding wouldn't go amiss!! ) x0 -

mmmmm well, I popped into Tesco to get a couple of things and thought I would try the ignorance thing, knowing mine had been cancelled but you never know, the order may have been there waiting (it wasn't but never mind)
Anyway, nice girl working there explained that Tesco had been terrible lately and that if they have actually taken the money then they have entered a contract and should honour the order. Money has been taken from debit and credit card so will be calling tomorrow on the advice of their own staff0
