This is not necessrily true for internet purchases in the UK. The terms can stipulate a contract has not been formed until another event occurs (email, dispatch etc.) as long as it is clear and fair. Ultimately, it's up to a court to decide this.

However the terms and events that have occurred do not seem to align in Tesco's case, so they may be considered ambiguous. This coupled with the fact Tesco seem to have alot of mis-prices I suggest would not help their case.

I'm a bit late coming to this party can I ask how you find the really cheap stuff on the website? Is there a link or is just search through the toy categories?

Lol its not much of a party for most of us but many have been lucky which is good

If you go through all the previous links already posted you MIGHT find something still available or you can register for stock alerts possibly but the prices for most things have gone up yet again after coming down again and I feel like making a joke of it being like a prostitutes knickers , but I WON'T! lol

Got a dispatched email for the pumpaloons, doodle daisy and megabloks halo wars and have tracked it as being delivered to store this morning

Only problem is I don't have a printer at the moment, would I be able to go to store just with the order number? and just to double check i dont have to wait until I get a delivery confirmation?

I need some advice please

I don't want this to drag on any longer as of COURSE I had my heart set on the toys for my DGS but its still showing as created which doesn't hold out much hope for me at all!!!

Do you think if I ring them they will just say ''misprice blah blah blah , being trying to cancel , blah blah , will cancel WHOLE order for you now & issue refund'' OR do you think if I sit tight and wait there might be a miracle and my order status will finally change at some point in time??? lol

I don't think I'm getting a thing and to be honest IF I did , personally I would NOT be posting pictures of them on here to rub in extra salt to the wounds of those who are DISAPPOINTED - ESPECIALLY since some ordered earlier than others and had theirs cancelled and then some ordered afterwards and still got theirs :(

And yes it IS sour grapes actually , in case anyone was wondering!

Yes i agree i dont think i would be posting pics either.
Its a real shame as i think a lot of people were looking for genuine bargains for their own kids that they couldnt afford these expensive gifts at xmas,while others were just getting multiples of the same item because they were cheap.
I am just wondering how many of these cheap toys we will see being sold on ebay etc.

And yes i admit i am a bit jealous as i only wanted a couple of cheap items for my boy.well done to those who got a good bargain for their kids tho.some you win,some you lose
