EXPIRED Cheap toys @ tesco direct [misprices?]

My order that I paid to be delivered to my home has gone to my local store! I don't mind as I've another order to collect and they've refunded me the postage anyway.

So tomorrow I am picking up:

Giant Timmy
Fire Engine
Postman Pat toy
Ben and holly small toy
Jessie doll
Geomag set

Had to ring them up today as I cancelled the remaining item they were planning on sending me but it somehow didn't cancel. I mentioned that they were still advertising things and she checked. She asked how I was viewing the items and I said that I was clicking on previously viewed items and she advised it must be a glitch in the system as any item that was mispriced was removed and that it did not come up in a search. I said it's not good enough when I can still see it.

And they have put the petrol back up 2p :mad::mad:

It doesn't matter what their Terms & Conditions say. Once they have taken your money, they have entered into a contract with you. This is why 99% of online retailers do not take the money until they dispatch... in order to cover their backs for cancellations and price errors.

Just checked online banking and my credit card statement was issued today.. so I have to either pay off the items I haven't been refunded yet.. or pay interest on them.

Utter disgrace.

Contact the Guardian Money section @guardianmoney They usually jump on things like this.

Ok, so the Mr T 'saga' continues.

After cancelling all but one of my items (totalling 4.99) which I then tried to cancel myself and it wouldn't let me.....

They have decided to debit the money from my account! Bad, bad, bad, Tescos!

I don't want to pay to call them for something that is their f-up! I think their MD will be getting an email from my OH! He's good at the legality part of things! Plus I have to work all weekend.

I've told him on the off chance to give the Tesco direct a call this morn.....just in case!

Right well i placed more orders yesterday. my previous one placed on the 19th that was already partially cancelled has now all been canceled, as was the majority of what i ordered yesterda.

However, i have a dispatched notice for the giant timmy time teddy, the mega blocks halo thing and the tomy play car. wil see if I can actually collect them!!

I think they have forgotten about my order or it has disappeared from their system or something like it doesn't exist!!! ... Ordered on 20th early hours of the morning & still showing as 'created' but when I click on 'view order' there is NOTHING

So doesn't look like I will be getting ANYTHING AT ALL & money is taken as usual but will ring them today to be told order is being cancelled or doesn't exist on their system even???

Not happy or impressed with this fiasco as could have gone out for DINNER & drinks last night as planned but forgoed the dinner to eat & home & just went out for drinkies which was great but would have been nice to have some meze with it which I WOULD have done had I not ''ordered'' these items not to receive any at all!! :(
