Just to let anyone know who is still waiting to see if their order is cancelled or not. I made two orders, both showing online as created. I have just received a txt to say "We are sorry to let you know that we've had a pricing error and had to cancel your order. Details of the cancellation and refund will be emailed to you today."

It doesn't say which order but I am assuming they mean both of them, I was supposed to be picking these up today from store this afternoon. I get the feeling they were swamped with orders and have been frantically trying to catch up with them all. It was worth a try - thank you everyone for posting all your wonderful finds, this site is fab.

What did you have Claire, did it involve Lego?

    Happy moneysaving all.

I think a change in law is needed! A mis-price is fair enough, but they don't mis-take the money from your account and can hang on to it for as long as they see fit. You are then theoretically left with no funds to buy the item/similar elsewhere until they decide to refund. They should either take payment on dispatch, or pay interest whilst they hold payment. I've often thought a cheap way to obtain a 'payday loan' would be to set up a site advertising unbelievable bargains, (not necessary to have anything in stock as these big companies don't seem to have the stuff available to when taking the money), take the money, cancel all orders and re-fund 'within 30 days'! Voila! Interst free loan of hundreds or thousands. Sorry, this may not be the place for this comment, but Grabbiters seem to fall foul of this situation rather alot and it irritates the pants off me.......

I have to agree with you, in this day and age l cannot see why if they cancel an order it's not an automatic refund.

I had a text yesterday to say Yodel would be delivering my order Thursday 21st (today) just checked Yodel online to see what status it is at and it came up with:

Sorry, we could not find any parcel tracking information for the Tracking Code and Post code you have provided. Please check the information you have entered is correct.

I just got a text message or tesco they never done it this way to me before " We are sorry to let you know that we've had a pricing error and had to cancel your order. Details of the cancellation and refund will be emailed to you today."

I also received this text this morning and I have received the emails as well

They have cancelled the V Tech Trumpet, the fisher price hammer, the walker and the Mr Potato Heads (which incidentally were OOS when I first tried to order and I received an email informing me they were back in stock so I ordered them). The only things showing as "sent to fulfilment" or "despatched" are the two easels which I have now paid two separate delivery charges for

I still have one order on "created" which contains an animagic puppy, Ben 10 alien lab & scalextric which I have no doubt will be cancelled today!
If at first you don't succeed ........ ;) Alternative autism therapies should be free!!

Hi Sassyblue, no I didn't order any lego. Just some of the Vtech and Fisherprice stuff (daughter is due a baby in August and this would have been great for Xmas). My other order was for my nephews, ben 10 and scalextric for xmas pressies but never mind I'm sure there will be more bargains before Xmas.
