Had the cancelled text too what is annoying is knowing that some of the items I chose are the proper prices and they haven't even sent them! The order is still showing as created online.
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -
I also ordered John Adams Gross Science and 2 Geomag 37 Piece Scary Gitd Set that are supposed to be collect from store today. These are still showing on my account as 'created' and I haven't had any cancellation texts or emails about them....yet!0

Thanks you, mine had beed Loaded to the Enfield van at 9h12, my Toy Story teller is on his way0 -
I had my Hogwarts Castle cancelled yesterday, although the e-mail was bizarrely vague about why (did not mention mis-pricing).
I note from Tesco's T&C that they are able to cancel in the case of mis-pricing:
"12.3 If, by mistake, we have under priced a product, we will not be liable to supply that product to you at the stated price, provided that we notify you before we despatch the product to you. In those circumstances, we will notify the correct price to you so you can decide whether or not you wish to order the product at that price. If you decide not to order the product, we will give you a full refund on any amount already paid for that product in accordance with our refund policy in paragraph 17 below."
However, paragraph 14.2 interestingly states that for collect at store orders, you have a contract as soon as you receive notice of the time/data when your product will be available (first part is the interesting bit):
"14.2 Nothing that we do or say will amount to any acceptance of your offer until we send you an email notifying you that we have despatched a product to you or notifying you when a product will be available to collect in store (as applicable). At this point, a contract will be made between us for you to buy and us to sell the products that you have ordered from us. Where products are despatched or made available to collect in store separately, our acceptance of the order in respect of each product takes place when we notify you by email of such despatch."
Since you receive an e-mail showing when you can collect your order from a store immediately you place the order, to my mind you immediately have a contract. I rang Tesco to argue this, and was told that what 14.2 is meant to mean is that for collect at store orders you have a contract when you receive an e-mail saying your item has actually arrived. However, that is absolutely not what 14.2 says, and T&C are there to prevent such ambiguity.
I think the T&C are badly-written, since 12.3 doesn't really seem to refer to collect at store items. However, as far as I'm concerned I believe I have a contract for these items and Tesco needs to honour it. The Tesco manager made it clear they have these items in stock, but has been told not to sell them for the supposed mis-price amounts. Also, according to 12.3 I should have been told the correct amounts and given the option to purchase, but I was not.0 -
I read 14.2 as meaning the message you get when it is delivered to store as the first email is an estimate of delivery time, or that is what I have always taken it as.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550

just had a cancellation text saying about mis pricing.I sent them a fuming email about how much they have been mis pricing lately and think its a disgrace that they treat their valued customers this way.I suggest we all do the same and bombard them with emails0

That's what Tesco would like to suggest, but the order confirmation e-mail does state when it will (i.e. in the future) be available to collect (in my case 16:00 Thursday 21st June). A later e-mail saying it has arrived at store just tells you it's now there. The wording in 14.2 specifically states "when a product will be available to collect in store ".
Please excuse the underlining, which I needed to make the point!0 -
Just got all excited, opened the door to a Yodel courier with a large box, I thought 'wonderful, that's too big just to be that hammer' until he said 'will you sign for this for next door?'

But there are times when the item is not available at that due to various reasons, eg late van, so I can not see how it can be taken as a definite time for collection. If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550
