Hi, guys, i just bought a Nokia N80 refurb on 3 for £17.50/month on an 18 month contract, the phone is a powerhouse, and has everything you can possibly imagine, like a 3 megapixel camera.

here is a link to it:

http://threestore.three.co.uk/phoneplan.aspx?offercode=&phoneDesc=Nokia_N80r&phoneCode=NON80R3DSL&tariffid=0

right, to make this an even better deal, use quidco for £100 cashback if you choose the Direct Talker 1000 tariff.

also, you get a free 512mb memory card.

if before buying, you talk to the sales team via the net and you ask them for a free bluetooth headset code, they give you a code which you can enter. when you go to the link mentioned above, to talk to the sales team, click on Got a question, chat live online with a 3 sales assisstant.

Looks like a good deal. As its a refurb handset what "extras" if any did you get in the box as well as the phone and charger. Eg any earphones, 3.5mm stereo adapter, etc.

hi mate, i got the nokia headset, the nokia usb cable, nokia cd, the standard 128mb card and the charger, everything which you would normally expect.

the same was with the second one i bought, and i got 2 free bluetooth headsets, along with £100 quidco tracked each time, so all in all it is a fab deal!

It's cheap cos the Nokia N80 is a dreadful phone. Poor battery life, keypad/phone lock doesnt work. Good deal though for a phone that is only a year old.

I'v eread lots of mixed reviews about the N80. First thing I'll be doing is looking at whether the firmware needs an upgrade to fix any bugs. Then I'll install autolock software like on my N70. I can't believe Nokia/Symbian don't include it as standard as on the non-N series Nokias.

N80 is a very good phone, got every feature I could want. Keylock not working ? not on mine. Battery life isn't great but with a fair bit of use I get 3 days out of it.

What auto lock software do you use?

Its a Nokia, they are renowned for selling rubbish phones.... After a year there should be an updated firmware to fix all problems which should make it better, but i'll never go back to Nokia!

Autolock by Petteri Muilu available from his web site:

v0.5 works on the N70, v1.1 will hopefully work on the N80.
  • Also should be able to go through quidco to get £100 cashback! Almost 6 months free then too! Seems a good deal! :D

Looks like a good deal but unfortunately my current contract doesn't end until July so just have to see what's being offered then.
