You are right but I was talking about accruing it.
You can earn it over 12 months, so no need for anyone to put themselves out in a big way if they think there are risks of doing so.

Not as far as I can see no. I'm just buying the usual food & petrol on mine and paying it off regularly.

I did have a nice little surprise paying the water bill yesterday though, as South West Water have started accepting credit cards with no fees now which hasn't been the case in the past so that went on there :)
  • How long did it take your card to arrive in the post? They sent me a text on Friday that they had sent the card out and nothing yet.... just wondering if I should be worried that it might have gone walkies.

Can't remember but it came 2 days after I got my PIN.

I applied on 29 June 2012, Card and PIN received by 17 July 2012.
  • Is anyone else experiencing a long delivery time for your postal statement, for the second month in a row I've received it 9 days after the date it was produced.

    Couple of weeks.

I believe there are legal requirements on notification for variable DDs.
However they might say that on-line is the method of communication and paper is just extra.
    I don't use a DD so can't say whether it's there on-line.
If it's no there then they can't use that argument and there may be a valid complaint here.

My first payment due date is today but the amount due to £0, presumably cos I've only had the card for a week or two. Will be interested to see if any direct debit comes out.

You won't have any payment deducted if there are no transactions on your statement. Why would you?

If you made the transactions after your statement was printed, then there will be no payment necessary and no DD taken.

I've not received a statement for my second month either, or at least I think I've only seen one. I just give them a quick glance and shred them as the balance has already been paid on-line.
