Just had my annual statement, and my total cashback is £100, hoping I can get a little extra cashback before the account ends in January, guess 3% was too good to be true

£100 is the maximum per year.

    Hi,

If a ATM cash withdrawal is made using Aqua Reward card. Will there be any transaction charge?

Sorry as the card is no longer available I cannot find this information anywhere.

    Thanks

Yes 3% fee, no cash back and you'll be charged interest straight away.

There's a tab for "existing customers" and the a specific link for using your card abroad

Has anyone tried to go in credit with the card?

I need to do a 550£ purchase but i just have a 500£ limit. So I was thinking to pay my balance and then transfer an additional 50£.

    Would it work?
  • I went into credit unintentionally by £1515 because a faster payment appeared to have failed then went through after a second attempt. After many requests Aqua sent the money back to my bank.
  • Regarding the cashback anniversary date, I thought that I had been told verbally that it was 19th January. After sending a secure message for confirmation I received a letter informing me that it is 24th December. It's worth checking.

So you couldn't actually spend the additional money on the card?

It didn't for me. Unfortunately Aqua say they will send back amounts in credit, and also faster payments don't work (for doing the £500, if you haven't spent anything else on the card) to quickly get your balance back to zero.

What I had to do, was one payment to bring my balance up to the £500, and the rest on another card (or cheque or whatever). My supplier was amazingly gracious and patient about helping me out with this, but it didn't work very well.
