If I can't pay off my Aqua card within two months, what'll happen?

Use of the cards ends in two months, pretty sure you can still repay it under the standard terms (i.e. over time).

So I can repay it later? That would be great. Thanks , Reclusive46 :)

My wife and I received our letters today.

My wife's Aqua anniversary is 19th January so I will be thinking how to spend £3333.34 on the 20th and 21st. Any suggestions apart from supermarket vouchers that have already been mentioned? It would take me about a year to redeem supermarket vouchers in the normal course of events.

How about bills that don't charge extra for credit card payments. I have used mine for my water bill and mobile phone bills :D

I have just received the letter today informing me that the card is coming to an end. :( I wonder which card I can get now to replace it. :money:

The only suggestion I can think of is that if you have a holiday you wish to book, then you could try and arrange to do it then.

In fact - thanks very much for the idea.
I've just remembered I have a holiday booked for April. I won't need to pay for it yet, but I could pay for it early to max out the card.
    Cheers.

Providing you can pay for it in instalments...most people got low credit limits with this card.

I believe you can do faster payments to the card?
    Many times a day perhaps?

If you are paying early I would guess you can pay off as much or as little as you want, so I don't really see an issue.
A little effort and few phone calls, but if you want the cashback.........

Sorry I don't have a magic wand, just trying to be helpful :-)

Perhaps I'm being too sensitve and you are only trying to help, but it does sometimes feel that you are trying to pick holes in every potentially workable solution.

I might think about a payment from your wife's paypal to yours which can be reversed (with fees refunded) up to 60 days later (after the cashback cheque has been received)

Alternatively allegedly some utility companies take online credit card payments fee free and then will refund credit balances by cheque/direct debit on request....
    I think....

I don't KNOW but I think there is a risk that cashback could be reclaimed.
