Aqua Reward Credit Card - 3% cashback up to £100/year

Out of interest, when was your 'anniversary' date?
Whilst the question wasn't directed at me - my card was opened in June, with the first transaction 6th July, first statement 30th July. Cashback was paid with a transaction dated 28th June, 1st July on account.
I'd guess that processing the cashback might be taking place over several days? Others posted about the cashback being added before it showed up on my account0 -
I applied for another Aqua card (for many reasons, I won't get anything else any time soon! So just wanted to build more history). It got referred, and I've heard nothing... until today, when I got a random PIN through. Completely confused as to why they'd 'changed' my PIN, then remembered about my app. and it says "your new aqua Advance Credit Card" - so anyone with Aqua looking to build credit may want to consider that if you already have Cap1 et al. Will be very interested to see what my limit is on the 2nd card (I got £250 and a ridiculous APR on the cashback one!)
I have earned about £6 cashback (so 5!), I've just opened 4 0% cards until next summer, so unless I get unexpectedly big car bills (touch wood....) I won't be using it again this year - just hope cashback does continue on into next year! As of today it's fine, and only speculation as to it's end, but if something seems too good to be true.....0 -

First Statement was July 2012.
As above my was credited on 28th June with a posting date of 1st July.
Account was in credit until I booked some tickets tonight!
Are we all going to wait now for a letter stopping the 3% cashback? I am planning on hitting the £3,334 spend limit quite quickly and then parking the card again.0 -

Why would you wait for one? Any reason at all, other than unfounded speculation in this thread?
Aqua's terms clearly state that they can withdraw the cashback _any_ time. That means they could have withdrawn it 5 days after you got the card too. Nobody waited for a letter then.
It's continuing until Aqua says otherwise. This is becoming ridiculous0 -

Sorry, that was a bit of sarcasm. I just cant see how the business case stacks up for this. Quite a few of us have played the game here on this one, and not paid Aqua a penny in interest, fees etc.
Long may it continue, I am just being cynical. Sorry!0 -
3% across the board does seem far too good to be true when Santander etc are more selective as to where you get the 3% (and require a fee). I guess Aqua's crazy interest does help them a lot though. I'm on 45% on the cashback card and the rates go higher than that!
Miss a payment and get whacked with fees and backdated interest and that'll subsidize a few people! Or just pay the minimum and carry a balance.... I bet that a lot of people sadly will!
Now they've stopped accepting new applications they have probably got their fair share of 'abusers' just going for the cashback, but in theory it could continue indefinitely if they have enough people who pay interest/charges etc0 -

We find ourselves in the questionable position where we hope that Aqua is making a lot of money from some poor souls, who quite possibly can't afford it, so that the business model works and we can get 3% cashback.
But then I guess that's how all cards work.0 -
Is anyone still having trouble re registering? I can go through all the stages (card number, memorable word etc.) but when it comes to confirm I get the good old "unexpected error".
Getting a little bit peeved about having to check my balance on an 0845 number frequently now...0 -
