Congratilations Emma-B,
"i have bought some maternity jeans today as i am so uncomfortable in my noraml trousers, jeans combats whatever i wear i end up with them undone (got out of the car today forgot they wer undone, got a few funny looks pulling my zip up and buttoning my jeans LOL"
You could also try a bump band. They have plenty on e-bay:

or do a google search.
I used this for the first few months of my pregnancy, until I was really showing and could properly fill out maternity clothes. It was great. They allow you to wear your normal clothes with the buttons undone underneath and hold it all together. Sounds odd but it does work and looks better (and is cheper) than buying clothes in bigger sizes that you will only wear for a few weeks.
I also wore it over the whole bump when I was much larger (under my clothes) to support it and stop feeling like it was going to all end up around my knees. I didn't get any strech marks and am convinced that this helped!0 -
LOL - I do that at work. Try to squeeze between fixtures, or stand pressed back in store warehouses so they can get past with a trolley/cage, except the can't because my belly is in the way

Oh the memories!! I worked in a shop when I was pg the first time and the till was an old fashioned type one with the draw that shoots straight out. I started showing all at once so wasn't used to leaving room for a bump, was busy putting a sale thorough on a Monday morning, hit the cash button and the till draw shot straight into squidge!!! Felt so confident I was going to make a good Mum that day - not!!
:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0 -
Topshop are on buy one get one free on sale stuff and everything I looked at for dd seemed to be for maternity so it could be worth checking the rack for those of you who need it. DD certainly does not!0
