Sorry, another question...
When it says 'by redemption' next to a deal, does that mean you have to pay it then claim it back as mentioned above???0 -
I saw someone selling white S3s for £405 on Amazon yesterday (newish trader (Feb 12), good but limited feedback, UK stock shipped from UK, no return address published). I suppose you might be safe taking a punt paying by credit card, but ...There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
In every town, in every state. In every house and every gate.
Wth every precious smile you make. And every act of kindness.

Yes - cashback or redemption deals involve sending in certain bills in order to claim the money. Can be problematic if you dont understand/follow the rules exactly.0 -

If so... do you think there's a chance of getting the same deal direct through Orange? - I have tried to double check its not a deal Orange are doing, but the site is down at present :-(
They get paid commission for signing you up to a contract and they use some of this to give you a better deal than if you go direct.
Orange retentions dont seem to be giving the same deals that they used to but I would always try and negotiate first. Note that the upgrade team doesn't have the same power to give deals as the retentions team and they only get involved after you have requested your PAC.0 -
I'm also looking at the Panther 31 deal from dialaphone (Ref: 24ORGAW204) with effective monthly cost of £25.83 p/m.
I am already on Orange and so will I be able to take up this deal not being a new customer? If so do I need to cancel with Orange first?
Will I also be able to use topcashback for this?
Thanks in advance for the advice0 -
If you want to keep your phone number then you need to port it out to a PAYG sim card on another network first and then you can take the offer and port your number back onto Orange.
Edit: the cashback should be valid if you do the above - otherwise it wont work (nor will keeping your number!)0 -

Thanks for the advice! Sounds a bit of a faff, any idea how long it takes to do the whole process?
I might switch to vodafone instead, as the deal looks reasonably similar.0 -
Shouldn't take that long but it is a bit of messing about. Seems to be relatively common - try searching on here for threads on it.0
