If anyone trusts Groupon, then they have an offer for the S3 (£19 up front) and £29/m (instead of £35/m) with Three Network.

    - Samsung Galaxy S3 in marble white
    - 24-month contract at £29 instead of £35 per month on 3
    - 5000 texts, 500 minutes, and unlimited 'All-You-Can-Eat' data
    - Accessory pack with Bluetooth headset and car holster
    - Delivery included

    h t t p : / / w w w .groupon.co.uk/deals/london/affordablemobilescouk/7258310?nlp=&CID=UK_CRM_1_0_0_178&a=9

    Could be good for some...

That sounds like the Ultimate Internet 500 package which is £32pm (not £35) and £29 up front (not £35) on the 3 website. (Note that tethering isn't allowed on this tarrif).

    Thats an alright wee deal.

Only issue is that it's through Groupon and then Affordable Mobiles and then Three.

You can apparently get it for £26 p/m from T-mobile through Affordablemobiles or buymobilephobes.net - that includes 100 mins, ultd texts and 1.5 gb data. No handset cost.

After reading reviews of the websites I decided against it

Both affordable mobiles and buymobilephones are legit, buymobilephones parent company just bought affordable mobiles. And buymobilephones is derby county fc shirt sponsor

And are you happy with dialaphone?
Was the phone you received locked or unlocked?
Any gotchas (like having to remember to claim cashback)?

I walked into a Three Store on Saturday and walked out with one for no upfront fee on the ONE plan - 2000 x-network minutes, 5000 texts, true unlimited data WITH tethering for £34 a month over 24 months,

When you work out the price of the phone over a SIM only ONE plan contract, the phone works out at £216.:eek:

If you go through Quidco there's currently £96.88 cashback. I couldn't as I was already on Three on a SIM only plan.

Did a speed test on Three on Saturday using the Speedtest.net app and I got 3337kbps down, 2335kbps up and 83ms ping which was better than the ADSL at my mates house, lol.

That looks like their standard deal which you can "potentially" get up to £100 cashback on via Quidco etc. the one plan tariffs include tethering.

I have been looking for deals with Orange for the S3 as am due an upgrade, and got directed to DialaPhone who are offering the S3 on Orange Panther36 plan, usually £36, for £28.50 per month... it would appear this is the same plan as you get directly from Orange, only a cheaper monthly rate...
There is no mention of cash back either (I found this deal through moneysupermarket), so was wondering if they could possibly just be offering the plan I was thinking of getting anyway... only cheaper than through Orange themselves?

If so... do you think there's a chance of getting the same deal direct through Orange? - I have tried to double check its not a deal Orange are doing, but the site is down at present :-(

To be honest, the main purpose of my search is to blag a better upgrade with Orange (or as a fallback failing that, however I have always done pretty well with getting a good deal from Orange)...
