Samsung S3 Deals, Is There Any?
Options
I'm a loyal O2 Customer, looking to upgrade from a £27 a month contract, pretty willing to pay this again for the samsung galaxy s3, however when I used martins haggling tips I got no-where.
Has anyone managed to get a good or amazing deal for a Samsung S3, if so where did you find it and how?

Try phonestore.techradar.com http://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/compare/contract_phones and http://www.moneysupermarket.com/mobile-phones/
Should be able to find something on those websites.0 -
Just ordered one for hubby who is currently with Three. Were going to go with o2. He does not need alot of minutes/data/texts.
Was set up to go for the £18.50 24 month contract and pay £249 up front. Went on 02 website(after clicking through Quidco for £50 cashback) and keyed all details as far as user name, name address etc, then the page crashed. Had to start all over again. Couldn't get same user name as said already taken so tried to sign in, no luck. Created another username, keyed all details, got to last page after keying bank details for direct debit and credit card details and the site crashed with a "sorry there has been an error"
Was on chat to a girl who could not string an English sentence together. No idea if order went through or not. Turns out it didn't so basically hubby has said right that is it I am not going with o2 if they cannot get a website to work properly. Thing is the website does not give you alot of time before it times out and believe me I am not slow at typing!
Anyway, then went the Three, saw the upgrade deals on website and phoned this morning. After 40 mins on hold all they can offer is what is on the website. Kept trying to tell us all you can eat data etc. Are they not listening/looking? We do not need that. No customer loyalty there then!
So, we have gone to TMobile £15.50 per month with £250 up front. Looking at the overall cost £622 this is the best deal we could find!
Good luckThe best things in life are free.....0 -

Buy it outright for £499 or less and use Ovivo Mobile for 200 mins, 200 texts and 512mb data for free. (£5 upfront).
Even on normal contract on T-mobile free phone upfront 300/600 minutes, and either 250mb or 750mb data and unlimited texts is £26 a month or £624 all in which is only £2 more than your deal.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

How many minutes? All I can see is 50/100 mins and either 250mb or 750mb of data depending on minutes chosen with at least 250 texts.

100 minutes, 250mb data 500 texts and the "Unlimited landline Talk Booster" for £15.50 with £250 payment.
Hubby does not use/need any more than that so quite happy to keep a low monthly paymentThe best things in life are free.....0 -
I have gone for dialaphone.co.uk http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/phone/Samsung_Galaxy_S_III/ the deal I went for was an orange (Panther 31) one for an equivalent cost of £25.83 a month including 4 months free rental (obviously u have to reclaim this at certain points in the contract). I also got £50 cashback through quidco. No initial cost for the phone.., 24 month contract.
BUT I have had to wait for 10 days for the phone. However, the website is now warning there is at least a two week wait for the phone. But it said that when I placed my order 10 days ago and the phone is on its way as of today. That didn't bother me as I have a galaxy (original) with a contract with 6 months to run.
AND I found that I had second thoughts (ten days to think about it lol) and phoned to cancel.., they offered me another £100 cashback to help cover the costs of the contract I still have for the Galaxy original. So I think I've done quite well.
The total cost for the phone including quidco cashback is £462 by my calculations.0 -

I've used the same deal!
I've managed to get the following
Standard Line Rental of £31 x 24 = 744
- £200 cashback for my Galaxy S2 = 544
- £124 free line rental from dialaphone = £420
- £50.50 cashback from TBC = £369.50
Total monthly amount = £15.39 for a brand new galaxy s3, 400 mins, unlimited texts and 750mb data.
I'm chuffed with that
The phone itself is £499.99 and even if I didn't have a phone to trade in i'd still only be paying £569.500 -
