Oh yeah - it works well on the neighbour's kid too (we were babysitting for them last night, so thought it'd be an ideal 'has been tested on little humans' experiment)....

None online in any local stores. Is this an end of line sale or are currys/dixons going to get more stock in?? Does anyone know?

Great buy, but not a great hoover. To be fair expecting great things is a little unfair for a fiver, but as a specialist Pet hair hoover it's no better than my Dysons at it. I know I'm being harsh, but just as a warning, if you're expecting brilliant hair removal it's no better than any standard hoover..

Really, you must be doing something wrong, try plugging it in :rotfl:

Is this any good at removing dog hair from carpets? We bought a cheap
1300w from asda and it's rubbish! As the only carpet in our house is on the stairs (rest is laminate) we don't want to have to buy an expensive vaccum cleaner.

suction is fabulous, however keeping the poles together is a nightmare. The rota brush is not a flexible neck so I found myself on hands and knees. It fills up in seconds then loses suction till its emptied.Certainly not much use for clearing up any volume of pet hair.Just a shame this cant hold a wee bit more.
Not too sure if I'll keep mine I dont need more junk cluttering place lol

mine works a treat. Would not have paid £50 for it tho', but for a £5 its superb.
Fantastic as a car vacuum cleaner!
  • Keep trying guys! This was out of stock yesterday but in stock online this morning at my branch. I was lucky enough not to have problems like alot of other members but it was a close call.

Story is the landline number on saynoto0870 no longer works so I decided to drive down risking it anyway. CS told me to go to till. The lady at the till looked like she was argueing on the phone. I made out "yes but I do not want you to turn up and expect it to be in stock at £4.98 now that I have spoken to you already". Im like  how many £4.98 items could they have that people are calling in about?
"That wasn't about the £4.98 hoover was it?, im here to pick one up aswell".
"Sorry, can't sell it at that price. Not had stock in warehouse".
"Well good job I reserved one this morning when they were in stock. Mine must have been put aside".
She then served me but with no smile :D

Ditto - I got this for using on the car aswell. Great for sucking & blowing dust out of tiny gaps.
They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!
