If at first ...... I reserved one on Thursday but was rung to say the store didn't have any after all. The internet was hnaged to show no stock.

Today I checked the internet and it showed some in stock at the same store.

I've been today and bought one and the lady said there were 2 more in the back.

    So don't give up.

There was one left on the shelf at Currys, Uxbridge Rd, Hayes-Southall about an hour ago. The box on the floor underneath was opened, I didn't look inside it as I wasn't after one anyway, so don't know if anything was missing.

    Hope this helps someone.

Think you should really complain th head office as this is very bad cistomer service and I'm sure Currys would want to know! (assume it was Currys?)

Yes I'm sure they would like to know, it was very devious of the staff to try and pull such a stunt. Wont be going back there for a while.

I love the handy little fine tipped brush nozzle, it's very handy for cleaning my pc keyboard, pc vents, plasma tv vents and fans, small ornaments, all sorts.
I hoovered my living room carpet with it too, it picked up loads of crap that my Dyson DC07 left behind!! I won't be buying another Dyson!

    Thanks again to the op.

Thanks to OP. Managed to bag three at my local store with no reservation needed.

Ordered mine online yesterday-said they were in stock. Tried to phone them to confirm, got thru to a stupid robot with press 1 for this etc. Phoned again-no answer.
I went down and sales assist said she tried to phone me (this was a lie) as they hadn't updated their data base and didn't have any left!
Told her what I thought about their "reservations" and service (she was a snotty cow)
I've e-mailed Currys with a corker of a complaints letter.

I went to collect the two I had reserved in High Wycombe yesterday. he sales assistant said they had sold out when I handed him my print-outs, but when I said that I had reserved them he went off somewhere (stock room?) and brought them out, no problem. Possibly as he wasn't actually a Customer Services assistant he didn't know what the bits of paper were and thought that I had just printed out the info. from the website.

Anyway, mine are still in the car awaiting the attentions of my son (it IS Mothers Day after all) so hopefully the car will be nice and clean later. The cats fainted at the thought of being blow-dried after late-night forays into the wet garden...

All 9 currys stores listed by the website in my area have none in stock - too slow off the mark again !!
Congrats to those who did get one ( or two !) I don't know if my cat would have been too happy with a blow drying anyway;)
