Well just feeding Roo ready to put him to bed, he's very tired bless him. We've just had dinner and the roast pork was yummy, although I now know why I hardly ever cook a roast, such a lot of time and effort only for it to be eaten in 5 minutes!! The kitchen now looks like an explosion, OH even had the nerve to ask me how it got into such a mess!!!!!! I've managed to make bubba 6 lots of dinners and will make some more whilst I'm clearing up. I'm going to do jobs around the house until the football starts at 1945 then I'm going to disappear upstairs whilst OH watches it downstairs and have a look on MSE and maybe start a new book, think I'll have a cuppa too, hmm only thing missing is chocolate, think I may have to nip out and get some! Diet starts tomorrow and all that!!
Really not relishing the thought of clearing up the kitchen.... Oh need to hang some washing up too... Best bubba hurries up and finished his feed, I've got a lot of stuff to do!0 -
Hello,
Well me and Roo are just back from dropping OH off, have just picked up the reusable nappies too, I can't believe they were £25, there are loads plus a bucket and a rucksack, although they look imaculate I'm going to put them through a wash and then see how I get on with them tomorrow!! Is it sad that I'm excited about it, very probably.
Although OH annoys me occassionally when he's home, I find it really sad when he goes away
Feel a little bit lonesome. Have very naughtily bought myself a bar of dairymilk that I'm going ot gobble up when Roo goes to bed.
I'm just watching Roo work his way across the room in the funny commando/caterpillar crawl he does, right best get him so tea.0 -
Just feeding Roo and contemplating what to do with my first OH free evening for 3 weeks. I've got tons of tidying etc that I should really start doing. But I quite fancy a nice bath, listening to the radio... Def need to sort the washing out though, meant to do that yesterday, ooooops. Not sure what to do tomorrow either, is a rather long day if I don't break it up by going out and about....0

Hope you are ok with your OH gone. It isn't the same but my OH often works evenings/nights and i do enjoy having my own time but do miss him lots too.
Aww at Roo learning to crawl, it is so cute!0 -
aw thanks wendz, well I've hung the washing up and I've tidied a bit, the nappies are currently in a 90oc wash to make sure they are as clean as can be and I'm going to hopefully try and use them tomorrow, Just having a glass of wine and some chocolate, have just had a bit of a mini facial, plucking my eyebrows (for the first time in about a month!!!) and taking all my makeup off and cleansing toning and moisturizing! Go me!
Think I'm going to order a book on my kindle, when we went out on friday all the girls were talking about a book, I get the impression its a little bit naughty!!! It's called 50 shades of grey so will have a little look and see about getting it this evening!!0 -
well didnt get around to getting the book but actually got more done housework wise than I thought, went downstairs to get a drink and to see if the washing machine had finished but it still had a few minutes, so I tidied the kitchen, cleaned the cooker hob, wiped over the applicances and worktops and cleaned the highchair!! Have also hung up all the washable nappies, so not bad! going to go to bed in a sec.
Definite to do list for tomorrow:
2x washing to do and dry
hoover downstairs and wash floor
tidy hallway
sort washing
tidy livingroom
ring orange
put on dishwasher and unload
cook bubba some more dinners
water garden
put out food bin
bring in bins
fit a reuseable nappy
and if I have time:
freezer and cupboard inventory
tidy upstairs
dust
bake bread
oooh I've also been organised enough to get out a pot of soup for my lunch tomorrow and some chilli for my dinner tomorrow
well think thats it for now, speak tomorrow
Nights

If you get the book you will probably fall behind on your chores. Lol. I've read all 3 & am now playing catch up on the chaos that is my house. Hope you don't mind me subscribing to your thread but it sounded like my life. ;-) I have 2 kids under the age of 5 &its all a bit nuts here. Hello L2B! Thank you for posting and subscribing. LOL very true I doubt I'd get anything done, I struggle enough now reading things on here let alone reading books too.
Well had a rubbish nights sleep, Roo had me up 4 times, and i didn't get to sleep until 12.30pm. apparantly 6.50am is the time to wake up too. I'm hoping his lack of sleep means he'll sleep better this morning for his nap.
Its really foggy here, I'm hoping it clears so that I can put my many mounds of washing on the line, its supposed to be 22degrees so might wash the bedding too. Am just feeding Roo after shoving a wash load in, I swear the washing breeds, I seem to have twice as much as yesterday!
Might pop to the garden centre and get some more pepper plants as the weather is so nice, oh on the back garden front, am a little bit cross, the birds have been eating my strawberries. I was going to go over and pick one for Roo to have, and it had been all gobbled up!!! I was a little bit cross!!
Well I think the nappies are dry, so I'm going to try and fit one later, there are some good videos on youtube to help with folding the inner bits, think I might order some material later too to make the wipes.... I hope it all works as I hate failing at things.
Well I'm just enjoying my coffee then I guess I'd better get up, have my list of jobs to do afterall.0 -
Hey missy!
Your list Deffo sounds doable, I need some sort of list to follow today although things pretty straight at the moment want to use this time to do some extra bits that I usually don't have time for
Baby is sleeping slightly better and work is not to bad, not saying its good lol, but not as bad as it was ha
Right best go and get ready for the school run xx***** on the road to debt freedom *****

morning bells, glad things are ok for you. I love lists, I find it makes me feel better if I manage to do things I've set down on a list, although I have been found to add things if I do them and they're not on my list to make me feel better lol. x0
