ok, have had a lovely improptu day out which was lovely but ended up spending lots of money :( wel lots being £10, I spent this on, 2 coffees some chocolate and a pair of crocs for the garden.

I had a lovely hour long walk with my friend and her baby then we met another friend in c0sta for a coffee :) was so nice to spend time with them.

Diet is still out the window, have realised why though, have started my monthlies again, first time after having Roo and I feel horrendous!!

Feel really bad for spending so much money today and for eating badly as these were two of my goals, but I have learnt things from today and intend to do better in future. What I have learnt today is. There is a lovely lake I can walk around for free, and if I park on the road it is free parking! Having coffee with friends is fine, but having a mocha with cream and chocolate not only costs twice as much, isn't good for my waistline. Going shopping whilst hungry is also not good as I buy chocolate and then stuff my face with it!!

Am struggling with WW mostly because I want to eat everything and the other reason is OH really wants to go camping this week as he goes away again next week and the weather is really good, tomorrow and wednesday, so he'd like to go for both nights which would be fine but I'll miss my WW meeting.... and its only my second one.... not sure what to do really...

On a money saving front, I got a pair of crocs for the garden for £3 in m£talan as they were boys ones, where i was going to buy some from ebay for £6, I need them for the garden so have saved myself £3.

I've been thinking and although i'm going to roughly follow WWs i can't really afford to buy all of the lowfat, diet faddy food I've been buying, for example, skimmed milk, which is 20p more expensive than the cheapest semi skimmed, and WW's sausages are twice as much as the ones we usually buy, along with extra lean steak mince, which is twice as expensive as normal lean steak mince, also the WW bread which again is stupidly expensive, I think the answer maybe just to eat less of the normal food and do some free exercise, like walking!!!

Well am in bed with the hugest cup of tea and a bar of chocolate, the perfect cure for womens troubles :)

Have had a productive evening even though I was out all day. I have made the bubba some more food for the freezer, I washed up I have washed and steralised all of the bottles. I have washed and hung up two loads of washing, I made dinner, wiped all the worktops down and.... well I think thats it.

I have been looking into ways to make the shopping cheaper and some things spring to mind:

buying frozen cauli and broccoli as much much cheaper than fresh
    making my own bread
    making my own burgers
    making my own burger buns
making my own wrap/tortillas (these seem to be very expensive)
buying whole milk and watering it down, for me not bubba

cutting down my huge portions will also help as I don't need to eat that much!

I need to find somewhere that sells cheap free range eggs, as T£sco have got rid of their 99p ones. I've noticed that since they're every day value stuff has come in some of their other lines have disappeared. You used to be able to buy cheap lemonade at 33p a bottle, but you dont seem to be able to get that anymore.

Think I'm going to have a good look at Aldi on friday and see how the prices compare, popped into m0rrisons today but only spent £6 and £4.50 was on vanish to try and get bubba Roo's suits clean!

Basically I can see ways in which I can save money, but it's just being organised enough to do them, like baking bread and comparing prices on shopping etc. But I'll get there :)

oooh OH has just ordered me a greenhouse too :)

very excited about this, can't wait for it to come, we've got our water butt sorted and we have 2 composters coming for our kitchen waste etc, I'm really hoping we can do well out of our veg patch.

I'm really chuffed, have just won on eBay 50 bambino mio reusable nappies, plus covers, rucksack and bin all for £25! This is one of my many money saving ideas for the future. I toyed with getting washable nappies before roo was born but decided with a newborn, lack of skeep and changing nappies constantly I didn't think id be able to keep up, but now Roos older, it should hopefully be doable! I'm looking making some reusable baby wipes and nappy liners too. I thought it might generate too much washing, but i do an alternate light and dark wash every day anyway and a few extra things hopefully won't make any difference. So yes I'm very pleased with myself :)

Have had quite a productive evening, have cooked roast chicken and veg for me to whizz up tomorrow for Roos dinners and I've done some washing And loaded the dishwasher :)

Have a busy day tomorrow, shopping, cake making, more washing, gardening and out for dinner, it never stops. Right bed time. Nights x

    Morning missy

Loving your new diary your sounding really positive and a lot happier which is good. I'm back at work now part time in the evenings not so good :( I think it's because baby isn't sleeping well he gets up once in the night but then wakes up early about 5ish which when I don't finish work til 10 isn't good. Just hoping he settles down soon

On a more positive note I'm doing a lot more baking and cooking new recipes from scratch and I have to say the family is enjoying it and so am I finding it very therapeutic lol

Anyway take care and have a good busy day xx

Ooh, i'm jealous! Would love to go camping right now, well actually not right now as it's horrendous out there but once the weather is nicer. Do have option of snowdonia next weekend possibly - we shall see. Where did you go?

I'm liking this thoughtful thinking missy - looking forward to the new updates for your new life :)
