Thanks for the ideas L2B. Having a nightmare trying to pack etc, there's just so much we need to take, having the the little one. I've cleaned the camper and I'm going shopping on the way our, have to nip out tonight to pick up Ebay stuff then back to make dinner and pack! Nightmare. Think I might pack first then make dinner and have a late one then we can hopefully relax a bit.
How's everyone doing? Hasn't the weather been horrendous!! X0 -
Don't envy you the packing. We are away next month and its knowing what to pack or this crazy weather!! plus i always overpack so a 5 night stay looks like a months laundry!! good luck and enjoy.xxxLBM 2008 [STRIKE]£45,091.23[/STRIKE] eek: now £7889:T Debt free date 18/07/2018

Weather has been awful. Saw a friend with her little one on the train on my way back from work and helped her across the bridge with pushchair and got soaked. I know how hard it is to get it up the stairs though!
Hope the packing is going ok, i always pack so much just for a weekend so would be a nightmare.0 -
Hope the camping is going well. Sunshine has finally arrived :Dx0

Hi Missy
Sorry I haven't posted in ages. It has been a tough year and I've been focused on other stuff.
Congrats on paying off the debts and good luck with all the other challenges.

Found you! Seems ages since I've read about your and Roo's little adventures so has been nice to have a read and a catch up.

Not sure if you're still camping as wasn't paying attention to dates but hope all has been well and sunshiny!

hi my lovelies
we had the most fabulous camping adventure
lots of icecream and creamteas and sight seeing, we found our own private beach, we went to the eden progect and to long leat. The weather was gorgeous, and strangely enough me and OH didnt argue once!!!! £ weeks in a camper, now thats saying something.
weve been back a little while now and OH has gone away, I have convinced him to let me join the gym, so this is my second week, MIL is looking after Roo whilst I go, have found I can go to buggyfit 3 times a week too as they do that with my gym membership. AM really trying to lose some weight and tone up, saw myself in a bikini and it wasnt a pretty sight! saying that though, I have just had a major pig out and some wine, but ill be back on it tomorrow.
Been thinking about going back to work again, just cant seem to shift it out of my mind... then I start thinking that maybe I shouldnt go back to work but look at doing soemthing qualificationwise over the next 5 years whilst Im a SAH mum. im still in the middle of my degree and Im intending to finish that, but I dont know whether to do an accounting course and maybe become an accountant and be self employed..... I just don't know, Lots to consider.
Roo is doing wonderfully he has lots of teeth and is standing up, not quite walking though, he is a very happy chappy though, he's a joy to be with, hes a little monkey though, trying to get anything done is a nightmare, my house constantly looks a mess!!!
How is everyone, I've missed you!0 -
Hey you!
Good to have you back
Camping trip sounds fab. We're just planning a mini camp for end of September. First with the pooch so we'll see how it goes!
Glad to hear little Roo is coming along. He sounds so cute! Trouble, but cute
How's the gym coming along? Hope you're enjoying it. It's good to have something for you and great that you are able to mix Roo into the equation with buggy fitness. My friend is a personal trainer and she runs buggy fitness classes. They seem to be very popular nowadays.
Any more thoughts on work? I'd say have a good think about it as this is the only chance you'll get whilst Roo is still young to think about retraining or doing qualifications. Throw in going back to work and looking after a little one it'll be a case of finding the time to do anything extra. That said, it can be done. Hope you can work out what you want to do lovely.
Catch up soon! x0 -
Welcome back missy so glad you had a good time

I agree with choc-addict I would retrain now if you were ever going to because it really is hard working and looking after the kids there isn't time for much else lol but whatever you decide I'm sure it will work out xxx***** on the road to debt freedom *****
