Southampton Town Quay - Urgent help needed please!

Hi all. Basically in need of some help here! I went down to southampton town quay at 6am on the 2nd of june to go fishing. I paid my parking ticket etc. Here's a link for the tariffs of parking. I paid £4.20 for 4 hours meaning I had a ticket until 10am. I got caught up in things and the cameras caught me leaving at 10:29:06am. (they use cameras to clock you in and out and you have to enter your reg number into the parking machine). It should my total time in car park to be 4 hours 32 minutes.
When I got home to find the letter my mum said to e-mail them right away and appeal. Here's the e-mail i wrote:
"Dear Sir/Madam.
I am writing to appeal against the parking ticket I have received for the 2nd June 2012 For £75. Me and my friends are regular users of the car park and I ALWAYS purchase a parking ticket, unfortunately this time I was unintentionally 29 minutes late leaving. This was at a time where the car park was near enough empty and so I was not inhibiting anyone else parking in the car park. I believe a charge of £75 is incredibly unfair for being only 29 minutes late and for someone like me, who has very little money around as I am in training, It is crippling. I have the parking ticket from the day in question if needed. I would be hugely grateful if something could be done about this so i can continue to use your car park.
The registration of my car is: ****
Ref Number: ****
Name: ****
Address: ****
Yours sincerely and thank you in advance.

I feel silly replying now that i've read several posts on forums etc i should have ignored it or contested it differently. Anyway it's done now so i'm looking for some advice! The fee is £75 if i pay by the Sunday the 24th of June 2012 and goes up to £110 + £40 admin if not paid by then (which is extautionate if you ask me!) Considering i'm only an apprentice on a pretty small wage right now its pretty crippling. I still have the ticket from that day as well.
I received the letter the 13th of June so 11 days after the incident. I replied that same evening.
That's all the information i can think to give right now.
Any advice would be massively appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Nothing has changed
Your appeal has been declined
You may just get a few extra letters as they think you are hooked fish
However it doesn't mean anything
What company was it by the way?
All you need to do now is look at the stickies on here and see which company it was and then you can see which letters to expect and when
The above is assuming it isnt CouncilHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Yes very silly, your appeal has been turned down, this is because you are dealing with an impersonation of authority fake parking ticket that uses threats and bluster to scare you and ever increasing amounts.
Fake debt collectors, fake solicitors will join in.
IGNORE them, dont bite back and dont take any of the rubbish they spout or free legal advice seriously, they have no legal or lawful right to charge you a unlawful penalty.
they wont take yiu to court because they will lose.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

So their failure to reply means that it was declined? the company is Parking Eye. Is their threads on here that will tell me what is coming then? Sorry not had this before so don't know much about it. Cheers for the help.0 -

yeah i agree it was silly.. but we live and learn i guess! so u reckon the best thing to do is just ignore them? even though i've basically admitted to it? will this not make it more viable for them to take me to court over it? cheers for the help0 -
Go here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2214803 scroll down to Parking Eye letters.. read, laugh then ignore
Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -
No it means.. SIT DOWN AND LISTEN !
We are parking experts, we are here to help.
You do not have a fine or a parking ticket, it is a cleverly dressed up invoice which is totally unenforceable, it is NOT a parking fine, only councils and the police can issue them.
IMPERSONATION OF AUTHORITY, sit and think about that statement several times .
You will receive a bunch of threatening letters full of lies, same again with a fake debt collector called Roxburghe Parking Services then they will pretend to be a solicitor called Graham white threatening to sue you, again FAKE.
This is the advice of parking experts, not just some opinion.
You can safely ignore them, they can not do anything.
The reason your appeal has failed is because they are a scam company trying to con money they have no right to, why would they allow you an "appeal" .
All are rejected.
Now wise up, start reading the threads, what you have is "no different" just a standard impersonation of authority unenforceable invitation to pay an invoice.
The law say they can not fine you THE LAW !Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

:rotfl:
No, we are just saving you having to wait - we are telling you what the reply will be!
Ignore it and you will just get the same letters we all do - and despite the 'debt collector' or 'solicitor' headings and bold lettering, threatening increasing charges, they really are very easy to ignore (as we all do!). There will be no Court, no CCJ, no bailiff, nothing to pay as it's not a fine, and no effect on your credit rating. As long as it's not a company or hired car which is more complicated, you just IGNORE the whole scam.
All the letters can be seen as picture previews, in the permanent info 'sticky' thread near the top of the parking forum.
See my signature for the words to click on, in order to take a step back and see the whole current thread list. One click and you see all the current threads here.
Third from the top, click on 'PPC letters & threats' which is the info 'sticky' permanent thread I mentioned.
1. Watch the Watchdog clip on there, and then
2. scroll down to the pics of Parking Eye's threatograms, then
3. Play a nice game of snap with each matching templated threatogram, then
4. Tell your friends & family about the fake PCN scam so they never pay one.
5. Also, if you search this parking sub-forum for the words 'already appealed' you will see how many times each week we are asked the same question 'but I have already appealed, will that matter, blah...blah'! It's like Groundhog Day on here every day but at least we stop scammers!
HTH
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

okay cheers everyone. was just pretty daunting at first, being slapped with that much money and not knowing what to do etc so cheers for the help! I'll ignore them from now on and be sure to let everyone else know about it.0

It will be the size of the EU bank bailout by the time you have finished Ignoring them, again, all part of the scam.
Just beware, Roxburghe may get a apprentice spotty kid on £3 an hour to call you trying to frighten you, just ask if his mum still warms his pants before bed.
