Still stuck on 19% :( saving up money from NSD/LSD is slow going at the mo, had to pay out some bits and pieces back to my mum and the work book club etc. Plus had to lend OH money which I'm not entirely pleased about but hey ho. Must get around to some more ebaying, lost the plot with it a bit in the last few days, figured I needed a break from it! Sunday afternoon seems to be the best time to end atm, had loads go on Sunday but none on the Monday night ones. Still waiting for some payers, don't want to take one solitary 99p parcel to the post office!

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time
  • Number 23 here and I've got another % so I'm now on 5% because of some vouchers I got.

It would be good to get the front page up to 100 ways to make 1% now there are so many members. Not that I have any new ideas though!!

There was a conversation on here a week or so ago about the cheapest way of changing small coins into large pound notes.
I took mine up to the supermarket and paid 8% to the machine.
When I was in the pub the other night the Landlady asked me if I had any 10 or 20p pieces that I could change for her, she says that the small businesses get charged for asking for change from the bank.
So if you have lots of coins that you would like changing it may be a good idea to ask a local shop or pub if they would like to change it for you, to save on the charges for yourself and them.

I am still only 5% off my target but better than nothing and going in the right direction.

I feel really inspired and motivated so thank you all! :j

Can you put me down for £100 for 1% sounds much better than £10,000!
Does anyone know when EBay have another free listing weekend? They used to email me to tell me, but seem to have stopped telling me!

Whilst earnt is perfectly correct but I prefer earned. However, my pronunciation leans towards the former rather than the latter. :rotfl:

    Morning all,

rent got paid to me this morning so there's £168 left over plus £19 left over in the % account.

So I've paid another 1% to credit card, 1% to holiday, 1% to my Dad, 2% to uni and 1% to house.

    Totals are:
    University ( 18% of £2,500 saved) House ( 4% of £2,400 saved) Credit cards ( 3% of £2,797.26 paid) Holiday ( 5% of £2,500 saved) Dad ( 2.5% of £5,590.10 paid)

Nothing much in the pipeline until free listing on eBay (still listing things as we speak).
    I like to make money
Best wins: £3,000 luxury holiday, holiday in Cornwall, £250 Murad Skincare hamper, angle grinder

    Hi everyone,
Just paid £60 to my credit card from EBay sales. Not sure if I'll get any more than that paid this month as my car tax is due by the end of this month, so I need to find £200 for that from somewhere.

    My 1% = £27
    Amount paid = £60
    % = 2.22%
    Total % paid so far = 4.07%
