Also, does anyone know is there any way of getting some money for foreign coins. I literally have about £20 worth in a million different currencies after travelling but the horrible banks don't take coins....
Just googled it, Cash4coins came up. Literally never heard of them before, never used them etc etc, but they accept all foreign coins and noted :T No idea what they pay out either, I'm useless at helping lol

Hey folks,
Just a quick checkin, great idea re: foreign coins, I've got lots of Euro coins.
I've actually got old Briitish coins too, some silver sixpences, George VI crown & Queen Victoria half penny. They all should get a few hundred quid together. Will look at them tonight. I'll keep one favourite for sentimental value & the rest can go to my percents!0 -
Topped off another % today from NSD's so brings me up to 19% and I'm gnawing at the bit to get to 20% before the end of the month! got a promising looking sale on Ebay- only been on since last night and has 2 bids and 15 watchers. I think the craft stuff will be a slow burn but seeing as it's all 99p listings I can just keep on re-listing. Did sell two bits last night, one hasn't paid yet though.
Well done on your sales CraftingMad

Have got 4% not 6, being a tad optimistic. But.. HMRC has given me a tax refond of just over 100, so I might be able to nab 3% (£18) out of it to bring me to 7%* Jan NSD *

Not much to report today, sold an old magazine on eBay for 99p plus post, better than binning it
A bit gutted today because I bought something last Monday which was £50 and a treat for myself for the baby as everything is 2nd hand this time and dpd courier have only lost the flipping parcel somehow. husband is going to ring up tomorrow, I've emailed the company I bought from but tbh even if they send another out of goodwill it won't be the same as it was in the sale as last years print and they've sold outnot a big deal to some but I'm really upset about it as I was so looking forward to getting it, I was on the phone 20 mins to an 0844 and an 0121 number (not sure if or how much they charge) on my mobile as landline is broken so need to find out how much I've been charged and try and claim it back off the courier people. Sigh.
Booked my daughters swimming lessons today for september so that was £35 gone, rather than a saving, but it's one thing I refuse to stop unless necessary as swimming is very important for kids. I learned to swim very early and am confident in the water, husband on the other hand, never had lessons and isn't a very good swimmer, god help him if he has to save anyone in the water! My friend also gave me 6 free passes for our local, very good, soft play centre so that's 3 free trips with my 2 monkeys over the summeri usually get a saver pass, £10 for 10 entries so that's 5 visits for my 2 for that and you can stay as long as you like too
cheap entertainment.
Luckily the 2 expenses above haven't impacted on my %'s though I'm unsure If I'm 4.4% or 5.5% towards my car finance payment as I haven't access to that savers online and can't remember the figure. We are just shy of 9% towards the cc. Getting there slowlyhopefully by payday we will be 10% on the cc and about 25-27% towards the car finance :T thank you overtime.

Morning all!
Well just added another 1% to the car fund. Plus, from Friday, about to take on a mammouth amount of overtime for the two weeks of the olympics so when I get that money that should be a right few %! I might just keel over with exhaustion in the process but I will make sure to update my % chart first before I do.:D
Still slogging it out on ebay, plus ordered some craft items to make christmas stuff to sell. Well you got to spend money to make money sometimes, don't you?Waste not, want not!

Morning everyone,
Well done everyone on all your brilliant achievements. :T
I really must get ebaying on the next free listing days - I have lots of different craft bits which I have worked out I will never use so may as well see if I can earn a % out of them!
I can now officially claim that I am up to 46% as I have just paid in and transferred to the savings account my money earned from superduper craft fair over the weekend. :j
Not sure how much % earning I can work on today though as its the school holidays, the sun is shining and the beach is calling!!!!!!

Sorry haven't been updating much, have been keeping up with the thread though
Little Miss could you please update my 1% to £50, after and expensive July I'm going to up my % a bit. Although not this much was spent I decided that overestImating isnt such a bad thing! Should be up to 6% in the next week, mixture of money from eBay and ohs salary. Really want to get this done before Christmas so need to get a move on!£20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j
£20 a day May 2014 £108.45/£6000 -
Can i just say what a fab thread you have here Little Miss!!
You all have inspired me and i would like to join in, my 1% would be £25.00. I have combined a couple of debts (one of them mine and one my ohs) but i have contributed the most to his debt so its only right that i pay it off!!
I have been taking about this thread to my work colleagues and we now all have a 100 square grid on our notice boards above our desks!! haha
I have already got 2% towards the goal from my 20p jar at home, i am waiting for a payment coming in from paypal and that will be another 2% too!! so 4% in the first week i am very happy with
i have tried putting a few books on webuybooks but it seems to have too many of the ones im attempting to put on! so will try elsewhere for those.
Thanks again everyone, i know my debt may not seem very high to some people but to me this is the light at the end of the tunnel!Lea x
