Bad day for us..... spent the entire day ripping the washing machine apart to get to the bearings, fitted them and everything seemed fine. Then ran some calgon through the machine this evening to clean it all up again and the main bearing has ceased again. But this caused the motor to overheat and the whole thing is kaput.
The outcome is that we now need to buy a new washing machine tomorrow! Horror
Oh nois there any way of selling parts or list it on eBay as broken/spares etc you might atleast make a little on it to lessen the blow of a new one?

we have a local washing machine dealer here who will call out and possibly repair washing machines for £15 a pop - a small place may well give you a good deal on an exchange on it?
maybe look on ebay for collection only - or ask on free-cycle????
good luck sweetie.

So far I'm 3% towards my £500 goal - 2% from walking instead of taking the bus and 1% from choosing not to spend £5 on a CD of the support act of the concert I went to see on Friday. The music was good but I think maybe I was more convinced that I needed it because everyone else was buying it. I don't particularly feel devastated that I don't have it in my life now!
Some of my eBay items have ended this weekend, not huge amounts but it all helps. Will be listing more soonThank you competition posters!

Right, ten craft items listed (I followed your advice LesGeo
), another ten photographed and I'm going to edit them tonight and list them either tomorrow or Tuesday; dentist tomorrow night and that always makes me depressed
On the bright side I'll get to see my wonderful Mum
Happytails - saving to pay off my car loanI should def have some wedge left over by the time I save £5k, as the settlement figure is at £5145 now. So anything left over can go to the next 1%er goal, getting my darling Mum paid back!
You've really hit on a good challenge here Little Miss, I'm loving being part of it
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0
