Thanks for doing the list at the front little miss, this thread has really taken off!! My debt is £3800 and so my 1% is £38. Unfortunately I haven't made a % yet but I'm trying!
Happy birthday!0 -
How do you work out the % again? I've got £17, debt I'm paying is £1167.47...
I've only had 2 coffees at work this morning, brain hasn't kicked in lol
To work out your %'s
'What you have saved' / 'your 1 %'.
It's easier if you round your 1% to a full £1 instead of keeping track of pence. So if you say your 1% is £12
£17 / £12 = 1.41%0 -

Hey Sarah,
That's when you have to get REALLY creative. There is only so much you can cut back on. There's no limit to how much you can earn.

Well the money from my phone trade in isnt in yet but it did say it may take until thursday.
£100 of CB money now in the savers for my car so thats 6.6% :j
Hopefully DH can put £50 in from the bank acc and then we are putting £100 in from the phone trade so thats £250 so soon to be 16.6% :j
Credit card debt paid is frozen at about 9%(£565 off £6500 i think), as soon as statement comes through ill update with actual figure.

Thanks everyone for all the birthday wishes! It has really made my day! :cheesy:
It's a secret at work shhh!It is starting to seem compulsory to go to the pub for lunch when it's a birthday which costs a small fortune! When you're in a team of 12 there's literally a birthday every month.
I'd much rather celebrate with you guys & think up some more crazy savings/earning ideas. Also If I'm good at saving £'s this week I'm in with a good chance of hitting my 4% target on Friday!0
